Mj rested meant disaster for the opponents. From what I seen in some doucmentaries he didn't sleep much and starts days real early so I bet a lot of games he was just a step slow just cause he wanted to do so much in his day. goat

@ 35 MJ was just flat out quicker and mentally tougher than the young guns in the league during that time. Look how bouncy he was, getting blocks, steals in the passing lanes, out hustling C-Webb for rebounds. The man just wanted it more, the playoffs were coming up so you can tell by his play that he took it up a level.

and the thing is this version of bulls jordan is probably the least athletic of all. still miles ahead of the competition. imagine it is the 89-93 version of jordan in here...

Keep the video's coming keep showing the poetry in motion that is MJ. This Lebron comparsion must stop and stop it must. Can't wait for the 10 hour documentary on netflix.

The comparisons are over. Lebron has lost too much when it counted the most. He had his best chance in Miami but he cut and run when the going got tough. He's just another good player in a long line of wannabe's that never lived up to the hype. I don't care wheat anyone else says, Kobe is still the next best thing since Jordan. 5 rings, one of the most incredible offensive arsenals ever, accompanied by killer defense. I hated the guy for so long, but now he's gone, I appreciate him for everything he brought to the game. Especially watching him EAT UP LBJ in their final meeting.

Andrew7244 You're referring to the first 3peat. To be exact the '93 season, In the 2nd 3peat Jordan played at 200Lbs.

he was never that light in the second three peat....we get heavier as we approach middle age...I got about three books on Jordan that I have read very carefully. He lost a little weight in 1996-97, In which he references against the Miami Heat to open the season...he says in post game that he lost 8 or 9 pounds and that he was down to 209 to get some of his quickness back...he was about 218 when he played a full season in 1995-96 after baseball....he is back heavier by this season as he said in his book, "Michael Jordan, The Life"....which is why he had the power to post up bigger peeps....everybody online got all the answers without reading...
@Andrew7244
@Andrew7244 6 жыл бұрын
You can go even further, when he came back to the Wizards, he referenced trying to get back down to his playing weight of about 218....he had gotten up to 240 something pounds....Phil Jackson noted that one main difference between Kobe and MJ was that MJ had a much bigger body, a bigger frame than Kobe...Kobe was about 200 lbs...Jordan was deceptively bigger...he was no light weight

And how many of them have any actual post game? All the league cares about now is running the floor and shooting threes. There's a HUGE lack of fundamental skills in the NBA today - no big men on the post. No mid range game. Everyone just want's to hang around the perimeter. It's dull as fuck.

MJ posting up Ben Wallace and Chris Webber... but there are media morons with agendas and silly millenials that think GS has a chance with MJ's 96' Bulls... Because Klay Thompson and Iguodala (aka Iverson's towel boy) can guard MJ? Lmao. If not that Krause got rid of Caffey and Williams, GS can't even beat this older 98' Bulls.

also there are multiple examples of him posting up anthony mason, who is supposed to be more massive than lebron james. he has also done that to kemp, howard, rice, makey just to name a few. similar to the shit they made up about lebron being able to guard center hahaha. give him a prime shaq, olajuwan, d rob and ewing and i want to see how he handles it. nba has always been about marketing but what is happening nowadays is the most overhyped and exaggerated version of all. it is pretty disgusting.

This was the season the Bullets became the Wizards. I liked the original Wizards uniforms better, they changed it to their current and ugly red-white-blue design for the 2011/12 season.

What can ANYONE do without a decent team? Show me a single player in history who won it ALL, alone, with no help? What did Lebron do without Wade, Bosh and Kyrie? What did Kobe do Without Shaq and Pau? What did Curry do without Klay and Durant? What did Bird win without Mchale and Parish? What did Magic do without Worthy and Jabbar? Fuck out of here with that LBJ bias.

Ohhh so coming second is important now? Nobody cares who came second - that's just something LBJ fans care about. 'Oh but he's been to the finals all these times' - yeah, and what did he win, exactly? A whole bunch of nothing. There's no trophies for second place. Getting to the finals means nothing unless you win - just ask the 73 win Warriors. It was all for nothing. Jordan won EVERY finals he played in. Oh.....and it helps when you have a team that wins 63 games and has the best record in the league. Folk pretend that 07 Cavs team were junk. Nope. Not one bit. They played like a well oiled machine. They just collapsed in the finals.
