People are surprised when Mike shoots a game winning shot and say werent you nervous? He has done that shot thousands of times in practice.
@missionpupa
@missionpupa 3 жыл бұрын
Salvador Luna nerves is a by product of uncertainty. It means your brain is telling you something is novel. If you have shot the same jumper in the same spot for 10,000 times, there will be no nerves, the feeling is familiar, it’s all automatic
@missionpupa
@missionpupa 3 жыл бұрын
@Salvador Luna good thing im talking about the brain and not the mind. Particularly the sympathetic nervous system. Uncertainty brings fear, fear show as nerves, its simple. Why would one be nervous if they know exactly how to execute, knows what to expect when they fail or not. The unknown is the source of all worries

@Michael McMillan Pistons deserve credit for beating the Bulls 3x in a row, but c'mon. The 91 Pistons with a newly turned 30 year old Isiah Thomas and a barely 28 year old Joe Dumars were not over the hill by any stretch. Dennis Rodman was just entering his prime on the 90-91 team. The Bulls were just better. The Pistons were expecting a 3peat not to be swept. That is why they were so bitter at the end of game 4 when they refused to shake hands and walked off in disgrace.

It's 2019 and I still miss watching Mike. The NBA on Nbc and their promos before the games were spine tingling and great memories to have. He came back after baseball and people were talking trash then he hit the buzzer beater against Atlanta and then scored 55 against the Knicks. I only saw him play one time in person when he was with the Wizards and although he only had 12 points I was still grateful because not everyone got the chance. Michael is like no other and I don't expect anyone better anytime soon.

Having spent years in my academic pursuit of psychology, I will tell you, that you won't become good at something because it was given to you. The only way the you can become legend like this man is to work hard. Not just work hard, you have to have passion for it, you have to love it, and you have to believe it. If not, your abilities will be compromised. The most important thing you can do with your life is to find passion in it, because that's what makes it meaningful.

The system we live in is built on fear and we human beings must learn to overcome fear as it really is all an illusion, as Michael Jordon said. Some of the most successful people come out of many failures, it’s working on that desire, never quitting burning boats so no option of going back. If a person has a love of something they should never quit. Sadly in these days many people don’t know what they want, so many live their whole lives not even stepping out of their zone of comfort. If you want something bad enough, risk and facing fears is essential.

I'd say the top 10 of all time all are so close on cerebral composition on court that they are just inches from each other. It's really going to depend on the day and exact moment of time they were in.. BUT If I had to give my opinion i'd say the highest Basektball I.Q. would go to Larry Bird. @Bear7 Bear7 No huge salacious articles....these guys had class...were, for the most part, role models of how successful black men carry themselves....yeah, some slips along the way....a few valleys of evolving toward greatness....but, without questions MJ is Da GOAT !

Scottie later clarified his position,he says Lebron COULD one day get to Jordans level. However,we all know that Lebron will NEVER be as good as MJ. Kobe was the closest but Lebron just not the same type of "kller" that those two were.

Maybe not the most talented, but I don't think there will ever be a player that new how to make others better, and get a team to win. Which is what really counts,..... in team sports therefore = greatest basketball player ever.
