Beautiful pair but I think this is the pair that made MJ look the least elegant (by his standards of course) from a mechanics standpoint. There were some moments where he seemed to slip or not have as much control as with other shoes. I did not find them very comfortable back in the day as well. :)

I hate to correct U but watch Jordan's so-called "travel" @ 0.25x Playback speed, and U will see that his left foot DOES NOT TOUCH the Basketball Court. MJ's Left foot just glides OVER the floor as it is MJ's 1st STEP of a very easy & SIMPLE 3 STEP LAYUP! Watch the replay; shown directly after; which the front view of the play makes it much easier to see the 3 STEPS, as well as the realization that his left foot does not stop on the floor and instead is beginning take off. MJ was rare, in the fact he would pivot on his right foot and then TAKE OFF using his patented wickedly quick first step on his LEFT FOOT. (U will see his right foot stop and as he begins to take off, using his long & fast first step with his left leg, and left foot passes over the floor. The side view; which shows his right side, doesn't show U what the front view clearly does.)

0:10 Funny story. I use to have them Neon Air Pippens back then. One day on a road trip to Cali I drank so much I had a bit of alcohol poisoning to the point I had to vomit and shit. So I went behind the truck to Shit. I felt better after, and went to set up tent. In the morning as I was packing up the tent ready to go. I went around back of the truck to put the tent in the back when I felt something squishy... I stepped on my own shit. I left my Pippens next to the garbage at a resting/camp place somewhere in New Mexico. RIP
