Im a retired cop and i played this at my partners wake, although he died from throat cancer, he was a real warrior and wanted to go out in a blaze of glory and asked me to at least play this at his wake. He believed this was written for a law enforcement officer. R.I.P. MY BROTHER. We had some good times patrolling the streets of East Orange, NJ making the people safe while we were out there. We did our job on our watch, protected and served.!!!!!!!!

For me leathel weapon 2 is one of the best movies of all time, and of course the best one from the series . Why ? 1. Joe pesci, mel gibson and danny glover in their prime . 2. Its a sad movie with a lot of good people who died . 3. Its so funny .. 4. The great soundtrack . "Youre not dead until i tell you - you got that riggs ? "

This movie and this great soundtrack brings so much memories from my childhood. I remember the first time I saw leathel weapon 2, I was 14 years old and it took me 1 hour to fall in love with Riggs, Merto and Leo. This movie is a rare combination of comedy, action, sadness and strong emotions. I miss the glory days when movies and also the music was full of emotions. It will never be the same .

Personally, either movie ending would've been good. It's one thing to scrap an ending because it doesn't fit, but Riggs dying would've been appropriate for the movie. He not only finds out his wife's death wasn't an accident, but he's given the opportunity to avenge her and does.

This track...so well written and played. Classic. Apt for this scene....Rigg's Dying. As mentioned this song had to have been played at many wakes. WHether or not you were an LEO or not. To think....those requesting it to be played were all Lethal Weapon fans. Loved t he movies. I thought they should have ended it with the 2nd. THe 3rd, with Jet Li, I think they were milking the franchise...forget if there was a 4th...Did like Joe Pesci in the 3rd though with his 'Ok, Ok OK...." :)...versatile actor...can do comedia and tough guy roles. ..haven't heard anything about him in maybe 2 decades... And, do I want this track playe at MY wake? Maybe....this song wasn't written for this film....just very apt for the scene...Sad there are no great bands any more like Cream/Clapton. I think Rock is gasping for air as are many other genres....all the big names from most genres are retired or members have passed away. A few working part-time....but the talent mostly isnt there today....Sad for the music guisiness. Even the film industry. (no more blockbuster films, a-list actors are retiered mostly,...)...wirtters and producers also retiring. Somehow there needs to be an "mass awakening"....Another "British Invasion"...

@AGC828 Жыл бұрын
@@lexkanyima2195 ....ummmm yeah....that was the idea :) They executed that so well. Spending enough time making us believe Riggs was dead. Then the way they had Riggs "wake up" was smart....then added some comedy...even had Mrtaugh (Glover) tear up happy Riggs his cop body wasn't dead. They had amazing chemistry even though they were different types of cops... Again....so much came toegher well. Amazing sountrack with big name rock and pop musicians. Legendary rock stars e.g. Clapton, Sting, Sanborn on the sax....something that hasn't been done for the last maybe 15 years or more...mainly because allt he "talent" has retired or passed away....a few making "come backs"...they made the Lethaal Weapon series of movies at the perfect time in entertainment history....abundance of talent in music and film...richard Donner directing....etc. One of the best "buddy copy films" ever. Maybe the first goo one....
