I shared this song with my dad before he died almost 5 years ago. He was crying at the lyrics, he was so moved by certain lines. He said it was one of the most beautiful and sorrowful songs he had heard in 30 years. He died within 2 weeks. The last song that touched him. I miss him. (Thank you the responses.) He was having a heart procedure the next day, already had filled out his PoA and will. He called friends crying the night before he died, he never called me or my sisters. This song has gripped me and given me such bliss. I've planned my suicide twice, once in 2007 and then again in 2018. I nearly went through with each plan until something would interrupt that attempt, and I found myself losing each day, instead of living. And for the first year in twelve years, I'm in a healthy mental and emotional space. I had to start all over again, and this song reminds me of that day, 28th October 2019, when I decided to make the change. Thank you Michael. These times are tough but they are not forever. We can get better. Every day is a new start. You just have to put your running shoes on.
