Rare full lesson from Michael Landau, going over I'm Buzzed, Five Storks, Roodis Tones, and Robben Ford's Peace On My Mind.

His tone is so tremendous I almost can't even take it, but I can also swim in it. Glorious tone, I'd call it.

There are these guitarists who make the difference. Michael Landau, Jeff Beck, David Torn, Adrian Belew, Bill Frisell... All virtuous musicians who tell stories with their instruments. Not showing off the speed ability they all have, but dosing well with good taste for sound and love for the music they play. I'm a blessed fan of all of them!! Hardly ever mentioned the beautiful work Michael did for Joni Mitchell. It was through her I got to know Michael Landau

To have your own unique guitar style and voice is priceless, to have the voice that everyone likes is a blessing .. Mike Landau to guitar playing is what Morgan Freemen is to acting and speaking , great and impossible not to love..

Hands down my one of thee best recording guitarist. I've learned so much from listening to him and trying to achieve his use of tones and ambience among others things. Seeing his hands is very enlightening. Very kind of him to let us all get a little glimpse into his world. Many thanks for the videos Mike. You are truly inspiring!

One of the goat. What/where is this video from? Is that his home studio? Love the mountain of pedals…that robben tune came out early/mid 2000’s i think so must be from that time? God when he digs in with the pick after all the beautiful finger picking its like bam-thats what killer dynamics on an electric guitar sposed to sound like.

How do you think of something that cool??? That whole tune (I’m Buzzed) is just brilliant. Anyone know the exact model number of that Arion Chorus pedal?
@nickcosta80624 жыл бұрын
He's now using a Vertex Chorus which is based of the Arion chorus pedal with more features..
