I think Malone played this as a sort of test for the second unit, seeing how they react to high pressure now that we're nearing the playoffs. If losing this game meant we lost the 1st seed, I feel like Murray would've played and the 2nd unit wouldn't have been so experimental

This is his loss. Two times Suns make advantage during the same period in 2/4. And after that they are chasing that advantage. First time it can be surprise. Second time it is his fault

We actually have some of the most efficient 3pt shooters in the NBA we have 3 guys that shoot 40% from deep Mal MPJ KCP it’s just guys like AG reggie and peyton who take our 3pt percentage way down 😂 most teams only have 1 or 2 guys that are 40% 😂

The biggest problem is the unit to start the second quarter when the game was tied. It was obviously such a ridiculously stupid line-up vs a KD freaking Bradley Beal and Bol Bol line-up. That's when they strangled the lead.

ngl people blaming this loss on malone mf why tf did murray sit out he rolled his ankle and played the rest of the game fine and we rested him for 2 games while our franchise player out here playing nearly 80 games this season we cant get more then 60 out of murray if this shit continues trade him cause i dont want us to be paying a guy 40m try to make a trade for a guy who healthy and consistent shit cant be real this wouldnt be close if murray stays healthy we had nearly 2 years of patience with him during that tough achilles injury but now he roles his ankle and is out for like 5 games cmon man jokic has had wrist issue arm issues back issues quad and he plays through everything we gone shorten the prime of our franchise guy cause our nr 2 cant stay healthy

This is a very stupid statement. Without Jamal we don't win a championship last season. They are just being cautious so he's healthy come playoff time. When the Nuggets repeat this season and Jamal continues to excel in the playoffs you will then realize how stupid of a request this is!

They played like Boston: shoot a lot of 3's and if youre only shooting 20-25%, the solution ....shoot some more threes. They could have easily dominated inside yet took 40+ threes.

AG can play through a foot injury that bothered him during the game but murray cant play through a light ankle sprain after being rested last 2 games nice!

Jamal is tough if he still couldn't play prob being cautious as he has been dealing with ankle sprains all season. He walked off the court when he got his ACL injury. Coaching staff prob being cautious so he is 100 percent or close to it come playoff time

It’s not just his ankle sprain, he’s been dealing with *shin splints this season. If you’re not familiar with them, they are EXTREMELY painful and worse is that they can get progressively worse with the same stressors and turn into stress fractures. Edit: he was on the injury report for his left knee (the one he had ACL surgery on). It seems his injuries are usually related to his connective tissues, so hot the knee soreness isn’t something structurally concerning. Because missing these games will put him under the 65 game supermax requirement, he’s also missing $millions on his upcoming contract. Aside from him being the ultimate competitor and an absolute warrior to even come back from his ACL to “bubble Murray” level of postseason play, you’ve got to believe it’s serious if he’s losing so much money as well. All of these guys fight through incredible pain from overuse and acute injuries and Jamal is a proven overcomer and champion. Please don’t treat these guys like robots or disposable gladiators and respect what they’ve accomplished. Personally, I have nothing but gratitude and respect for Jamal. It’s likely because he’s worked so hard to develop his talents that he’s dealing with some overuse / breakdown. It’s smart to give him time to heal and hopefully come back in full force when his body is ready.

I put it this way there's two different kinds of Denver teams if Denver shows up with the consistent urgency then they will destroy anybody they play including Phoenix because Phoenix is lacking size and length but the urgency is the key so if they don't play with any urgency at all then then they'll lose to anybody I don't care if it's Phoenix or Dallas or whoever they will lose to any team if they play with inconsistent urgency, I'm talking about Denver so that's the key they need to play with consistent urgency if they do, then they will beat anyone, we will see which Denver team shows up in the playoffs

Put it this way here's the real truth on this it really is the truth if Denver plays with lack of urgency regardless he's on the floor keyword, regardless is on the floor I'm talking about the playoffs now normally in the playoffs they are a different Beast they raise the level of intensity and they play it serious in the playoffs there are different team Denver is, but if Denver plays with lack of urgency or inconsistency then they won't beat anybody no matter who it is they face first round they will be an exit if they play with no urgency or if they are inconsistent, on their urgency then that means anybody they play will beat them, on the other on the flip side if Denver plays with consistent, consistent urgency make an important every possession matters regardless what round and who they play if they play consistent urgency then they can beat anyone, so it depends which one of those two Denver teams shows up in the playoffs

Look at the season they have been solid they are number 1 or 2 seed when it's all said and done. They will play with urgency and repeat. They have won 14 out of 17 since all star break so why don't we all just calm down
