Lauzon elbowed Lundkvist in 1st and knocked him out of the game. Benn was going after Lauzon the whole 3rd period. He got him on a boarding and hit him again right toward the end of the game. He wasn't worried about McCarron, but seemed ready to go with Lauzon who clearly looked scared of Benn. That's why Schenn and McCarron were the ones trying to fight Benn.

For all you soccer moms I will clue you in… A) you don’t go running around looking for big hits unless you are willing to hack it up. B) in a game you are winning 8-2 you really don’t run around and go looking for big hits and or from behind/boarding. Mcarron did exactly what he should have and Benn pussed out. Benn is a big strong guy who has a history of throwing cheap shots. Ever since Josh Manson TKO him last year he has been reluctant to drop gloves. Bottom line is don’t write checks your ass can’t cash. Great job of enforcing by #47! Nashville looks horrible and unless miraculous turn around they will be goofing early this year.

Haha coach made a terrible decision to send him after benn. Backfired right away. Benn got last laugh and drew the penalty veteran would have known to pull benn until he dropped his gloves gotta be mutual so they dont get a powerplay. Coach should have sent someone else or should have had a better defense plan and not let them score 8 goals geez.

The board was payback to Lauzon for what he did to Lundquist in the first. He's lucky he got off that easy and why didn't Lauzon drop his gloves rather than having McCarron do his dirty work. And before you say why did Benn do his dirty work, Lauzon took him out of the game.
