Parkinson’s disease is the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world. Over the past twenty-five years, the number of people with this condition has jumped from 3 million to over 6 million. By 2040, it will likely double again. We are failing to stop this onslaught. Harmful pesticides and other toxic chemicals that contribute to Parkinson’s surround us. At the same time, our investment in new therapies have lagged behind the disease, and many people remain undiagnosed and untreated. We will discuss the book Ending Parkinson’s Disease: A Prescription for Action, the Parkinson’s PACT (Prevent, Advocate, Care, Develop Treatments) and increasing our investment in the next generation.
This lecture is part of the IHMC Evening Lecture series.

The cause could be the pollution of our nature and our homes... and our bodies... We need more consciousness and honesty is the businesses ... and the politics!!!

I am 60. Male. Grew up in Tonawanda NY, adjacent to a golf course and something called Black Creek. At age age 32 I was dx with early onset Parkinson’s. I’ve had luck until about 2 yrs ago. I’m at such a high dose of carb/Levo that I take it every 2 hrs. I’m not a good candidate for dbs. Don’t know what is in front of me (do any of us ) I know the Manhattan Proj had a part in Ebola Gay. We all knew what Black Creek was about, and of course, Love Canal was a stones throw away. Did all that effect me? Is this my contribution to the Cold War? What if ?"? We’ll never know Hard questions? Thank you for my faith that sustains me

I heard it could also be caused by a vitamin deficiency or even parasites?

Search for Elliot Overturn, you will find, how high dose Thiamin (Vitamin B1 ) work on Parkinson. But, problem is that, doesn't trust naturopath. They only have trust on allopathy drs., even though they are playing with your health. How can we expect that a allopathy Dr. Will treat, to completely cure you, and will loose his customers. There is a very good film on this issue, in Hindi, " Munnabhai MBBS". A Indian Dr. Very well explained, how thiamine work. He states that, every neuron in brain has cover made of thiamine. He said that, pschyctric problem may be due to vitamin B 1. Some, says Parkinson, another one says, almizer dimesia is due to vitamin B1 defeciancy. Now, this Dr. Will tell you that so much people affected, I seen at this age, may be due to pollution or genetic reason but, never tell that it is due to vitamin defeciancy.
