I would like to visit Bhutan some day, for a westerner it must be like stepping into an ancient world

To make the story short, it was that monk who brought down the Great Tibetan Empire to the end (unintentionally) After the assassination of King Langdhar, Tibet broke apart into pieces and never rose up again under one king (except spiritual leaders)
