I'm so glad you held on. The music you have given the world since would have been lost. Keep holding on. I've had someone close to me commit suicide and its been 22 years and the impact of that death still effects me and my daughter to this day. That voice he was talking about happend to me as well... When I was 17 I'd saved up a lot of pills, and one night I really was going to take them. I had them all out in front of me, some water ready. And then instead of taking them I just went to sleep. Something in me was like "one more night of sleep won't hurt. You can do it in the morning. Just go to sleep." so I went to sleep, and didnt take the pills that night. As you can see, Im very much alive, 22 now and in a much better place.

Depression and other mental illnesses or problems do not discriminate. They affect peolple from all walks of life. He lost his mother when he was only 5 years old. Losing a parent at such a young age is a severe emotional and psychological trauma that will leave scarce for ever.

Love to listen to him when he's speaking english....and that's so true cause I feel the same for several month I was so down....and I can remember the time exactly when I'm thinking of it it feels strange....but I'm so glad that I didnt kill myself I tried a lot to go on and not giving up....and I got much help from people....and somehow a few month later I was mentally so strong that I felt better Ich habe mich geritzt und all den scheiß es war so schlimm und heute denke ich mir nur warum habe ich das getan und bereue jedes einzelne bisschen aber ich bin froh das ich es aus diesem loch geschafft habe denn das ist nicht einfach es halt viel Zeit gekostet....

For everyone else in here who has ever thought of suicide and thought it would be a way out of the pain or a way out of the anger you have at yourself or anger with everything maybe you feel that you aren't good enough for others or you feel that nobody likes you or that you should have been taller or shorter or if only this or that. I have in the past attempted suicide and I am so glad that it didn't work out. It would have been far worse not just for my family members but also think about this. One of the things that keeps me from committing suicide I hate leaving others a mess. And just on the emotional side it is a mess that your family members and even those who you might think are not your friends because they don't invite you over all the time it would leave them a mess. But also after you are dead your body leaves a horrible mess for them to clean up those who clean these sort of things it is a very messy thing to clean up as I look at it it's not fair for them to have to come and put all that effort into making such a mess a clean area for another person to rent or if it is in your home then for someone who might buy that home. So what if you are in need of more money than you make learn to live with less. When I worked for ten cents an hour in prison I learned that I could make do with a minimum wage job and that if I needed more I needed to cut out what made me need more of a wage that what is possible. A person doesn't need to be on facebook or KZfaq all day long. The most important thing other than finding out that your an interesting person who just needs some help is then finding out that there are people out there who can love and give you as much love as you are able to receive and will be the person that you can love as well.

Que dura es aveces la soledad, es un camino muy solitario el de un famoso, pues no pueden contar con ningún amigo real, son ilusiones de lo que ellos representan, ojalá ahira si pueda contar con gente que de verdad quiera su bienestar y si alguna vez volviese a caer, ellos estén ahí arriba para sostenerlo abajo para recogerlo por si acaso cae!!

Yes I also did not commit suicide. You know why? There was no such thing as an easy way out. You have to take many pills, but I guess you feel very bad with incredible pain in your stomach first. Or you jump for the train. It can be very hurtful, maybe you break something first when you jump. The same as jumping of a building. Or you can hang yourself, but everything comes out of your body first of the fear. So it is too difficult, always going through hell first before you die. I prefer to go when I sleep. Just don't wake up in the morning.
