because he is chasing the shots, if he plays nuggets basketball he will play surgical defense and building those easy lay ups on rebounds and sharing the ball to a team mate with a better chance of scoring but if he is position to take the shot when is a good look then he has to remember that he has to take the shot in his mind before he even takes the shot, the mind can follow the body but the imagination of a player is their most valuable tool, that and cardio plus being rested fully. takes a bunch of ingridients but MPJ has got them all, he play great defence on game 5 and i never cared if he hit and miss but he knows something about himself now and he will keep it in mind come sunday. Nuggs basketball wins

he plays good defense by sheer desire and intention, hes not the most versatile but what he can control hee can and has done it, its just going back to the fundamentals and playing all as one! one unit! no hesitation, everyone knows their roles but depends on malone too, he has to let them play to their strengths to maximize their yield points and do some of that agreessive dunking jokic just to throw a tomahawk in every quarter not to show off but to play the mental game that he loves so much, rest him when lead is up by 15 and have cb jamal reggie ag and mpj to shoot from all cilinders and sharing that ball over and over to disorient their defense, and boom! they bridge that wall and do it over and over and over without beating your chest or acting up, act like a champion! dont act like youre defending act like you simply are keeping what you already have! forget the personal beef with ant kat and the rest of them.. dont waste your possesions! stay ready to assist and be ready to receive long shots! so rest well! be ready to fall on thee ground at the end exhausted and victorious
