I've often thought about Jonah. I was thinking just the other day, Jonah wanted to avoid preaching to Ninevah so much that he was willing to be thrown overboard, and risk getting eating by sharks, drowning, and everything else involved in landing in the raging seas rather than go there. He had no way of knowing that God was going to preserve him. Interesting hey??

Happy Lady, Yes. Jonah is symbolic of Jesus. He willingly told them to throw him overboard to save their lives believing it would lead to his death. Like Christ he was in his tomb 3 days, and then resurrected to broadcast the good news.

Yes, Jonah thought these people were not worth saving as we read on in this book. Even towards the end, when God forgives the people of Nineveh, Jonah was disappointed with God. Jonah did not have the same mercy for these people or hope for their lives as God did. That is why God is a merciful God, he is who he is and it’s really good that people are not the ultimate judge.

I am still healing from Ravi's crime. I keep asking why was people around Ravi deceive? Michael idolized Ravi that he became part of the crime. I am looking forward to what God is gonna do with this pain.

Amazing analysis on today's culture. Is this victim-hood culture you describe valid in its own right? Should we combat it, or work with it?
