One of the best guitarist who ever laid fingers to strings ! I've never heard a bad album and I have all of them. One of the biggest discography of any guitarist, hell, the biggest discography of any guitarist. Salutations Michael, we the listeners know exactly what you've done selflessly for the Scorpions and U.F.O. Thats all that matters, be secure in the knowledge that anyone who's honest knows that without your talent neither of the two bands above would have been as good or even at all ! Thank you for ALL the years of your music. From, your neighbor in Utah. ✌ 🍻

@@markbirchette8740 - Schenker left the States years ago to escape arrest for back child support. It gives me no pleasure to type that, but it’s true. Michael posted it himself on his website at the time. He lives in England, right around the corner from Phil Mogg and Herman Rarebell, which is a total coincidence in all cases.

There's got to be 100 stories of Uli and Michael. But in 2004 Uli dragged Michael to America...look at how Michael is dressed at 2001 Donnington- Whoa! I digress. At the 2004 show Uli played 2 of Vivaldi's 4 seasons plus his own 5th season... it was the cleanest most spot on yet emotive guitar display I've ever heard. I think he played 45 minutes straight and it was not boring. And Michael's 2004 band and his show was great. I hope the 2 of them get "captured"going down memory lane before they are too old to remember.Ha-ha....great stuff.

That crap about Rudolf trying to impersonate Michael is laughable for this reason: Anyone who knew who Michael was would know Rudolf was not him, especially when they heard Rudolf play. The general public didn’t know either of them, so they wouldn’t have known one was ripping off the other, so Rudolf had nothing to gain by impersonating Michael. Also, Rudolf was the first to own and play a Flying V. Michael bought that first V from Rudolf. So, who was influencing whom? I think Michael’s memory bank was pickled long ago. He wears his jealousy of his older brother on his sleeve. (He can’t wear it on his hat because the six pairs of sunglasses are hogging all the real estate).

Rudolph didn’t want to fool anyone . . And he used the B/V because it looked awesome ! Why is that bad ? If Rudy asked for permission and Michael gave his blessing , why is that a problem ?

It was incredibly STUPID of Gibson not to make a Michael Schenker Flying V guitar. Dean approached him and he's been playing them for 15 years now. My last concert was Uli and Michael in 2004 and that was the last year he played the Gibson. Marshall should've attempted to deal with him and ask what he likes and what could be better for him with the amps. He was not nor has ever been just another guitarist. I said Schenkeresque back in 1979....I was talking to a guy and we were trying to describe the "something" in his playing we loved so much.

I entirely agree. Not only would it have been well deserved recognition of such a unique artist but commercially it would have sold really well I imagine...but that's Gibson for you...

@Kevin James - Maybe because Michael was unreliable and prone to falling off the wagon and disappearing for years. He didn’t have the greatest professional reputation for most of his career. They probably felt it was too risky for their reputation.
