Funny, I have been into Michael Schenker since he was 15 years old in the Scorpions and this is the first time I have ever heard him actually speak. This is amazing. What a thick German accent. I love it.

Michael Schenker is my new God as a player. I am ashamed to say in my mid 30s I discovered him. He is the epitome of FEELING the music but with the proficiency of obsessive practice. Wonderful.

I wish I discovered him earlier. When I was younger I only liked creative original stuff. Obscure songs and musicians. Then as I got older I appreciated the trained proficient pros. It took a while to stumble on MS who is the embodiment of both

@@madamefeast4824 He is very hard to cover but the earlier stuff can be done by and average good guitarist who likes that style. the way it was recorded obviously and not how he plays and phrases now. He has developed so much that's just incredible. He is the best rock metal guitarist ever for sure.

Whatever people's opinions are of Mad Michael Schenker. His life, his recordings, really state that he is plugged in to something where he draws out melodies. Like no other. Maybe not being so hypercritical lets him do it. I wish his brother from another mother Uli Jon Roth would release more but he has said he is too critical of it in the studio. I bet he's sitting on incredible stuff. . and If you catch Uli live, on the right night he is creating new stuff. But Michael just keeps plugging in, hooking up, releasing stuff and hitting the road. It's great he has a handle on his money now. Last concert I could go to, (I'm seriously disabled) was Uli opening with Michael closing. It was heavenly.

He's Michael Schenker so he can do whatever he wants. His body of work is quite large. It's perfectly normal for artists to stop being prolific after a certain time. As a younger man I wrote scores of songs, so, for myself, it's inspiring that he finds a way to reflect and expand on what he did. Nowadays I write a few tunes a year at best, but I'm playing better than ever. That's just how it is with a lot of people.

The rock world has moving parts, who gives a shit who played what part in a bands success? Great music from The Scorpions and Michael Schenker together or apart, arguing over who's responsible for what is plain stupid and arguing it makes no sense.

Klaus and Rudolf writen very good songs without Michael.....obviously this man has talent but'ssss Scorpions was equally going to be great.!!!examples are wind of changes, rock you like a hurricane, no one like you,big city night, still loving you etc.... michael its great but he dont invented the universe!!
@johnnyapp7885
@johnnyapp7885 4 жыл бұрын
No, he didn't invent the universe, but he did invent the Scorpions.There would be no Scorpions if there was no Michael Schenker. Klaus was in the band because of Michael, and Uli Roth joined because of Michael. Michael joining the Scorpions on the "Lovedrive" album also helped them. Without those beginnings, Scorpions wouldn't have existed to write those songs in the '80s.

Because he was young the Scorpions used his talent once they didn’t need him anymore that let him walk when he joined U.F.O. He was 17 writing killer riff after killer riff he’s responsible for so many killer songs as a teenager it’s crazy !! Strangers in the night will go down as 1 of the greatest live album ever !! The blistering guitar solos are endless on that recording !! If you think that he’s an awesome guitarist that’s your privilege because after he left UFO that band was never the same !!
