as always, the second and final solo is memorable - It's very hard to find a player so melodic and tasteful like Schenker. And what a fucking guitar tone!!!!

I used to have this VHS concert. Man, what a great concert. Ray Kennedy really did a great job. Schenker at his finest moments, what a clean and melodic rendition. Superb guitar player. Wait, only 55952 views? Only 237 likes? The world knows nothing about music. Schenker is top quality music. Greetings from Mexico City. God bless Michael Schenker and God bless his bandmates. Sorry to hear Ray Kennedy is no longer here.

My favorite solo of Michael Schenker! The lick that introduces the second solo is one of the most beautiful that Michael ever wrote. And the solo that goes after is just perfect!
@GreenerHill13 жыл бұрын
It's funny not to have the big, burly presence of Chris Glen! But Dennis Feldman is good in his own right. And Ray Kennedy sounds pretty melodic too. He'd only been with MSG for a few weeks, if that. Schenker, of course, is unchangingly brilliant.

Saludos

sotto voce: I think Ray did a damn good job. With a lot of 80's rock vids, it may be best to look away from the embarrassing stage wear :-)

Uh dude in case you had not noticed,it was the 80's then and EVERYBODY was kind of dressed like that in some way or another with like the odd exception here or there. Believe me, I was there. When the 80's were over most of us changed with the times and carried on.

Ray actual has a history that would make you shit. The guy has played with everybody wrote some hits tunes and has a history of gigs you would have to live to be 100 to achieve. I don't like his singing either but he is a legend.

Michaels always on it in Japan for some reason. I am not keen on the singer or bass player although they are good, I dont think they fit into MSG as other people past and present.
@Rattlehead93015 жыл бұрын
Why did he kick out Gary? He's a much much better singer than Ray Kennedy. He's got a much nicer voice. By the way, you put Schenk as the vocalist in the description again man :P
@AXEFLYERFV11 жыл бұрын

Gary had lost his voice,I saw their US tour gig & Gary didn't sound good at all,this singer replaced Gary to finish the Japan tour,never heard of him before at that time but now I know he's been around & has a good singing history but somehow didn't sound good here!
@xuxis200814 жыл бұрын
Michael Schenker is great. But he had to replace Gary Barden literally in the eleventh minute. The result was this awfull singer, certanily the worst ever to sing with MSG.
@rachel11226316 жыл бұрын
I agree. This singer is the absolute worst. He can't sing and he looks like a dork. I guess Michael has had manaement problems going way back - poor guy.
@chefjameso16 жыл бұрын
quite possibly the worst singer in the history of the universe , fucking embarassing he was a management choice ,only M S greatness save the day, if there was someone who could edit him out ,that be cool
