Michael Schenker (Too Hot to Handle and Only You Can Rock Me) - Live 2022

These two songs closed out the show. Michael used his 50th anniversary Dean V for these last few songs of the set. Really grateful to Michael that he allows fans to record these clips. As a guitarist and lifelong Schenker/UFO fan, this clips allow you to pull apart these songs and try to better understand his fantastic technique.
Since I had essentially a front row seat for this show, directly in front of Michael, the focus is on his playing. Hopefully guitar players around the world can use these videos as teaching tools.

Schencker is a fucking GOD of phrasing....otherworldy phrasing. THe last word in tone for Marshalls and humbuckers and his vibrato is artwork. GENIUS!!!!!

Nice playing on your channe! I see the Ibanez, but is the purple guitar a Charvel? Can't see the headstock.

I am perplexed why I couldn’t record Michael playing many years ago but other people can! I even asked the venue before hand twice and they said I could!

Very nice video. I subbed to your channel. I purposely did these Schenker videos for guitar players. I’m biased, but as a long time fan, I think these are the best close up, live ones of him on KZfaq.

By the way, you’ll notice at the 14 second mark, even the great one makes a minor mistake, where he misfires on an augmented power chord. 😎

Michael Schenker is recognised on the rock guitar scene worldwide as a superb highly original rock guitarist who cannot be equalled. At 67 in 2024, he’s still producing excellent songs & touring with his own band.
