This guy is like a cross between Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, its honestly crazy how talented he is and I cant get enough of his music! He deserves so much more recognition than he already has. I first saw him in the eurovision song contest in 2018 Portugal, I loved his song and was shocked that he didn't win. He is my favourite artist by far and I hope that he carries on with this career.

I have been using KZfaq since mid 2000s. This is my first ever comment. I randomly came across this song today and I can't stop crying as it feels like this song is basically my life! I am the youngest of 3 boys in the family. I lost my dad in 2007 when I was 18. He was killed in an accident on the way to make an appointment with the doctor. The consulting hours starts at 9 but since the doc is of high demand, people queue from 6 onwards. I didn't have a phone of my own and mostly used his to play games and text friends. I had set an alarm to wake up @5:30 to study for the series exam as part of my engineering degree. My dad was never good with tech and always used my help for things like changing a ringtone. Guess when my dad's car collided head on with the truck... Pretty sure he must have got distracted while trying to turn it off! What makes it worse is that a few days before, I had a fight with him and we were not on speaking terms... My dad left home for Dubai at a young age and basically fed the family of parents and 7 brothers. He dreamed of a better future and made everyone believe that he is fine although he lived with the bare minimum saving every penny! It was the same when our family of 5 lived together as he sacrificed a lot for our happinesses. I used to think that I am nothing like my dad but now when I live alone and although I earn enough for a good living, my inclination is to always to go for the value for money option! The make believer in me after he was dead pretended to be alright in public and cried in private. I have buried my dad's memories in a corner of my mind as I cannot help but think that I am responsible for his death! I can't even go to his graveyard without feeling guilty... Daddy, I know you are watching me from heaven and hope you are proud of me... Please forgive me... I tried my best and I came so far But you will never know 'Cause you let me walk this road alone My childhood hero will always be you And no one else comes close I thought you'd lead me when life's misleading That's when I miss you most

Es kostet einfach zu viel Kraft über das Geschehenen nachzudenken (man muss dazu wissen, dass mein Vater länger krank war und insbesondere einige Tage vor seinem Tod die Lage sehr kritisch war). Es ist und bleibt die schlimmste Zeit meines Lebens. Dieser Song hat so viel Wahres in sich! Das ist unfassbar! Ich musste wirklich krass weinen, als ich ihn gehört hab...unglaublich, dass ein Song so authentisch, so gefühlvoll und so ehrlich sein kann! Danke! ❤️

I know this song is about a father, but this song hits me so hard, I cant help but remember my mother who was my childhood hero. She was sick and two years ago I had to make the decision to take her off life support. I was only 22 and like this song says, she will never know how far I go in life. I have heard many songs about the loss of a parent. None of them are like this. This may not have won, but it is one of the most heartwrenching songs I have heard, which means more to me than winning a silly competition.

Krass, Michael kommt aus dem Nachbarort, völlig unbekannt und knallt eines der schönsten Lieder, die ich jemals gehört habe, heraus und stürmt immerhin auf Platz 4 beim ESC. Für mich der absolute Gewinner, so ein grandioses Lied. Ich höre das jeden Tag aufs Neue und bekomme immer wieder Gänsehaut und feuchte Augen.
