@Child Of The Sun SO IN THE 1960s BLACK AMERICANS FOUGHT AGAINST SEPARATION FROM WHITE PEOPLE, BUT NOW YOU ARE SAYING THAT YOU WANT SEPARATION FROM WHITE PEOPLE? THAT WOULD MEAN THAT YOU WOULD ONLY RECEIVE GOVERNMENT SERVICES FROM THE TAXES OF BLACK PEOPLE; SCHOOLS, FIRED DEPARTMENTS, WELFARE, ROADS, MILITARY, POLICING, ALL WOULD BE FUNDED ONLY FROM THE TAXES OF BLACK PEOPLE FOR YOU IF YOU WANT SEPARATION FROM WHITE PEOPLE, NO TAXES OF WHITE PEOPLE WOULD BE USED FOR ANY OF THE SERVICES YOU USE ON A DAILY BASIS. IS THAT REALLY WHAT YOU WANT? ABOUT 1 BILLION BLACK AFRICANS IN AFRICA WOULD DESPERATELY LIKE TO COME TO AMERICA FOR A CHANCE AT A BETTER LIFE AND THEY ARE SHAKING THEIR HEADS AT THE 'PROTESTS' AGAINST AMERICA TAKING PLACE HERE NOW BY BLACK AMERICANS. GEORGE FLOYD KILLED HIMSELF AND CAUSED HIS BEAUTIFUL YOUNG DAUGHTER TO GROW UP WITHOUT A FATHER. HE ALSO HAD FOUR OTHER CHILDREN. THE AUTOPSY SHOWED THAT GEORGE FLOYD WAS STONED ON METH AND OPIOIDS, AND THAT HE ALSO HAD THE CORONA VIRUS, ALL OF WHICH MAKES BREATHING DIFFICULT EVEN WHEN YOU'RE NOT RESISTING ARREST FOR TRYING TO STEAL CIGARETTES. GEORGE FLOYD SPENT FIVE YEARS IN PRISON FOR BREAKING INTO A PREGNANT WOMAN'S HOUSE, PISTOL WHIPPING HER, AND ROBBING HER AT GUN POINT. HE HAD NUMEROUS OTHER ARRESTS FOR DRUGS AND THEFT AND HAD A LONG HISTORY OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. AND HE IS THE EMBLEM THE BLACK LIVES MOVEMENT ARE USING TO REPRESENT THEM??? THEIR CREDIBILITY IS GONE BECAUSE OF IT. THE POLICE WHO TRIED THEIR BEST TO DO THEIR JOBS, PROTECT SOCIETY, AND ARREST THE VIOLENT CRIMINAL GEORGE FLOYD WITHOUT ANY RACIAL BIAS WHATSOEVER ARE MARTYRS TO RACISM AGAINST WHITE PEOPLE AND THEY WILL WALK FREE AGAIN VERY SOON. THE RACIST RIOTERS WHO ARE BURNING OUR CITIES, CAUSING HAVOC THROUGH THEIR 'PROTESTS,' AND SHOOTING INNOCENT PEOPLE IN THE STREETS JUST KILLED A BLACK POLICE OFFICER TWO DAYS AGO IN SAINT LOUIS NAMED DAVID DORN. IF THIS CONTINUES WE WILL RESTORE ORDER TO OUR NATION THROUGH OUR MILITARY. A TRAGEDY IF IT COMES TO THAT, BUT OUR GREAT NATION WILL NOT BE DESTROYED FROM WITHIN.

Their fall and a hunted spirit so they are taking their own self down you can't rule the world it's not theirs and they need to realize it before they're not going to be able to rule the world it's all ready has a owner and by no means will they remain here with that way of thinking it's no way to do that unless you kill the creator and I hope they know what they are doing because it is written of what to be in the last day of this world he will come and judge and what will be done unto the wicked he will stay them all there will be peace on the Earth after he gets rid of the wicked and that is the reason for his coming to set justice in the Earth as it were in the beginning before modern man

I totally understand what our black males go through. As strange as it may sound, I am a woman of color and was pulled over by the police while wearing a hoodie on a cold winter night and driving to the store with my daughter to pick something up to finish my cooking. White cop saw that I had on a hoodie while driving behind me, turned on his siren, had no reason to pull me over, I drove into a 7-Eleven parking lot, he gets out of his vehicle, walked up to the window, saw my black face and his white face nearly fell to the ground. He gets back in his car so quickly and drove away that I was not able to get the license plate to file a complaint. I am 100% convinced that black men are targets. Did I say it? I sure did.

I aspire to be more like and learn from their example. I know there are more good men and women who just need a good example. My heart aches that there are so few of them in our nation's most powerful leadership positions. Thank you for your words but more importantly thank you for the example of a man being strong of mind, morality and body while showing kindness and acceptance of others is not a weakness.

@butchbrunson24864 жыл бұрын
Xman• respectfully it's not mine to make that point I believe that's already proven an undeniable fact, many times over. I wanted to bring attention to the use of a strong man of any race showing a positive and unifying message from a position of respect from men of all races and beliefs. I believe taking the knee, was another one of the most powerful effective statements ever made in the same manner. A statement still ringing around the planet. I'm not Muslim, Jewish, Hindu... But when my brother feels need to stop and pray for his faith, I can gladly bow my head, kneel in respect or simply sit in silence. Not because I have to believe as he does but, as my brother I respect his right to do so. By example, I've given him the tools to respect mine without needing to defend his. When men and women in a position of leadership spit poison and disrespect while trying to dominate others into agreement there is no growth. I just pointed out the difference in leading and holding a position.

Joe Ann• Thank you for the information. I'm familiar with some and will be looking at the rest. I don't claim to have all the answers but, it seems simple enough that the color of skin should never be a basis for dividing. It is no measure of the morality that dwells inside. If we're led by men and women who are so lacking in character that they see past the color of skin, we're following fools and led to foolishness. I see to many people in positions of power that look at the pictures and want to teach the class. Anyone that knows so much as they are beyond learning from others is a fool who's beyond learning. If we can get past defending what's obviously wrong in our leaders because they prove to be not who we thought we can open the door for leadership that can prove worthy and learn to celebrate the value of everyone. When the message of a policy maker begins with , we and they, it's not good policy. (Reddit) Serena and Alexis 👏 awesome example!

A year ago, I purchased a home in a beautiful 55 and over retirement community in Dover, DE. My daughter and grandson came to visit me recently. We went on the walking trail for my grandson to ride his bike and fish. After becoming exhausted, I went to sit in my car but could see my family from afar. Some random white couple began interrogating my daughter asking if she was a resident or guest. That was not ok and reeks of white privilege. I am a black woman and could not contain my emotions. @@maggier5882 First of all, his name was George Floyd and you need to deal with the issue. The issue is that racism is alive and well in this country. Stop trying to change the narrative. You are so uncomfortable dealing with racism that you have to divert the conversation. I am sure that you did not mean to sound like you think that George Floyd deserved what happened to him. Try to listen to yourself, " ...if we had more like him maybe we would not be here ..." Are you kidding me?!?!?!?! Who is the "we" to which you refer? I think what you meant to say is that "if white America had all clean-cut educated black men who approached life like Dr. King, America would be perfect." I guess you would think that because they killed Dr. King also. Well, white American men created the system in which George Floyd grew up, which created the man who put his knee on his neck, and which helped develop your inability to face the injustices set in stone by a system that has oppressed African Americans since we arrived on slave ships. George Floyd was a human being who had made mistakes in his life (I am sure you never did make mistakes or at least you did not get caught because white covers a multitude of sins, right?), paid for those mistakes, and was living his best life at the time he was killed. Furthermore, Antifa did not factor into this until #45 mentioned Antifa. Again, diverting your attention from the real issue which is racism, you chose to ignore the true issue! THERE WAS NO WAY THEY COULD KNOW HE HAD THE CORONA VIRUS, NOR SHOULD THAT EVEN BE AN ISSUE. IT IS A HUGE MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE AND RACISM THAT THE POLICE ARE BEING CHARGED FOR DOING THEIR JOB TO KEEP SOCIETY FREE OF HARD CORE CRIMINALS CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF COMMITTING CRIME. GEORGE FLOYD BROUGHT HIS DEATH ON HIMSELF. THAT RACISTS ARE MAKING HIS DEATH AN ISSUE OF RACE IS THE ONLY RACISM HERE. THESE RACISTS ARE GOING TO BECOME EVEN MORE AGGRESSIVE AND VIOLENT IN THE FUTURE, A BLACK POLICE OFFICER WAS KILLED BY THEM IN SAINT LOUIS THREE DAYS AGO, AMONG OTHER POLICE OFFICERS SHOT AND INNOCENT PEOPLE KILLED. WE WILL END THIS BY USING THE MILITARY, TRAGICALLY. IT WILL COME TO THAT IN THE FUTURE, AND YOU KNOW IT. Actually Jesus was Crucified for having these conversations by a mob that didn’t like it. In a Roman Government. Jewish Church leaders hated that Jesus Spoke the Truth about Gods Love instead of conforming to the daily rituals that the “church” had pushed forward while pushing Love downward. So those so called “Bible believers” avoiding these conversations really got to look in the mirror about what they believe in. The apostles wrote letters to the churches having conversations about everything from too many factions occuring, to pride, to sexual immorality, to ego...so many conversations. The ones mindlessly saying what your quoting over the timelines are probably under the same influence that mindlessly creates follows of the Marxist group known as Blm.

Michael I am sorry that this is still going on. It’s so sad. There are people who are protesting the right way, and there are protesters that have to ask people to please protest without hurting innocent people’s businesses and physically hurting innocent people. I feel for them. I hate it when people die like this and it never gets better. I am praying for all of the people who are grieving and hurting because of this. You have a right to be angry and scared. All we can do is pray and the people that can make a difference should try very hard to do so. Someone like me can only pray and love everyone around me. I will do that because that’s all I can do. God Bless everyone and stay safe from the virus. Please everyone if you are out in the streets together wear your masks to protect one another. 😭💜😭💜

@Frances Wilson You hit the nail on the head. What you have described is a tangled web that black people have found themselves constantly caught up in, without any escape. There is no exit, because it's a game. And the sad part of it all is that if you play the game, you might be allowed to live a decent, second-class-citizen life. That is your reward. But if you don't play the game, if you avoid the tangled web, you are going to have an extremely rough time in America.

The sad thing is we cannot change someone else’s heart. We need to be on our knees before God asking Him to make the change within the hearts of those who are racist, those who are scared, and those who are ignorant to the equality of Gods creation of various shades of brown, and Gods love for us all.
@stricknine86234 жыл бұрын
No, the sad thing here is that we cannot read a person's heart or mind in the way that most people are acting as though they can. The police officer was rogue,..he broke protocol and basically murdered George Floyd. The officer did this. Not the Nation. Police forces are not National or Federal. They are State, then County, then City. We already have a law against murder and it should obviously remain in place as a huge deterrent. But it is a law,..a law that is sadly broken with regularity. Why is this murderous officer's motive considered racial ? Based on what ? The officer is white and George was black ? When this happens between a black cop and and a black person or white cop and a white person NOTHING is said and the country isn't in turmoil. Ask yourself why that is. Isn't it completely possible and even likely for a white cop to do this to a black man for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with race ? Of course it is !!! Yet here we are anyway. Smh. I understand why the media implies this because it is clearly obvious that the media haven't been in the journalism business in a long time and are clearly political activists. But WHY do soo many people treat the idea that we know the cop was a racist as being some foregone, absolute fact ? Treating this in this way seems very irresponsible to put it delicately. There have been at least 7 police officers killed as a direct result of protestors. You could make a much more definitive case that these officers were killed because of race. Because the entire reason behind all of this is based on the idea that George Floyd was Black and he was killed by a White police officer,..therefore the motive is factually racism and cannot possibly be anything else. What happened was tragic, terrible, unconscionable and wrong on every level. Just as any murder that isn't self defense is. I checked the records for the entire 2019 year across the entire nation in regard to Police shooting and killing unarmed Blacks and also whites.... There were exactly 10 cases where a Police officer shot and killed an unarmed Black person. 8 of the 10 were justified in a court of law with predominantly black jurors..The other 2 officers were convicted of murder. So that is 2. There were 37 unarmed whites killed by police officers in 2019. All cases were justified but one...That officer was convicted of murder. There were more black people struck by lightning in 2019 than the 2 wrongfully killed by police officers. I state this to disprove the false notion that this happens at a large level with frequency. Not to down play the murder of these 2. I am appalled by what this officer did. But I think there is a real problem in our nation with soo many people reading racism into every situation with absolutely no basis for it. What happened to George Floyd was murder by an idiot, rogue policeman. The reality is bad enough. He should and likely will be convicted of murder. Burning the Nation down isn't happening because of just murder. It's happening because of this baseless, fabricated idea that the motive was racism. The atrocity that happened to George Floyd and his family was and is sad. Turning this murder into a nationwide "racism" epidemic is making his murder worse.
@scribevibes4 жыл бұрын
Your entire message was irrelevant to my comment. I agree with you that this Incident was not an issue of racism. I am also annoyed how the news media portrays things... I do not stand with the protesters actions of hurting innocent people by destroying and stealing, putting people in harms way, blocking main highways, lighting buildings on fire and then refusing to allow first responders to assist the situation, throwing bricks through housing where children live. It’s just not right! But I also know that racism is still an issue as well, and many are living in fear because of it. My point was the protesters actions will not solve the issue. The only possibility of a racist heart being changed is by the love of God filling it. That was my point. Have a nice day

I personally wouldn’t want them to be afforded any protections of law IF they so choose to step outside their sworn duties and perpetuate crimes against humanity. Think about what police officer’s heinous behavior in three states has unleashed on our entire country. And now, unidentifiable people who hold guns are gathered up to protect against looters. Don’t bother showing any video of 45-another one who took an oath and have abdicated ALL responsibility to citizens, no matter how many times he poses in front of a church.
