Why would dad want the children to stop riding? Another person commented very rationally, “How is she supposed to pay for half of everything, when she was a stay-at-home mom & HER income is, essentially, what he’s giving her? I hope he won’t turn into one of THOSE parents who use the kids as pawns in order to get-under-the-skin of the ex. That would be SO wrong!😔

Tip Tip: In THIS particular case THAT’S not even the issue. We’re specifically talking about equestrian lessons for the children (which could costs approximately $200/hour). The average person living paycheque-to-paycheque does not register his/her child in riding classes. HE’S the former NFL’ er & the CELEBRITY (doing morning television). Even if she were to get an average paying job, her ENTIRE salary wouldn’t even cover the care-cost for the horses. BOTTOM LINE: You don’t withhold child support payments in order to irritate an ex. Also, you should not use the kids to accomplish that goal either. In sum, the children should be able to enjoy the same quality of life AFTER their parents’ divorce, as they did PRIOR to the split. That’s all I’m saying.✌️

Julie Shepard : This clip specifically had to do with equestrian lessons for the twin girls. So, being a celebrity has EVERYTHING to do with it. If they each do 1 hour a day (5 days/week), that translates to about $1000 week (& that’s JUST the cost for the lessons). We don’t know what’s in their “divorce agreement”, but I’m pretty sure that he didn’t sign a document that says I WILL NOT SUPPORT MY DAUGHTERS’ PASSIONS & INTERESTS OF RIDING LESSONS. She’s saying that the back-payments have to do with these classes. An “average” paying job (I.e., when you’re NOT a CELEBRITY like Mr. Strahan) would NOT be able to pay for these lessons (HIS can). ✌️

Maybe, as we normal parents know....cut your leaving costs you got a really great “divorce settlement “ live on that...he’s paying quite enough in child support....as a judge once said “enough is enough deal with it”! My parents divorced when my sis and I were little kids I remember wanting a horse and my mom took the time to tell me respectfully that I could not expect my father to pay for that. She wasn’t being shady either. My dad (RIP) was a lawyer too

That’s why I stay unmarried. Cause these women fall in love fast with men with money and then develop this out of this world sense of entitlement. They wanna leave a relationship with way more than they came in with. Nothing wrong with a little more, but they feel like your wealth should be divided up equally when they didn’t add not even 10 percent to the overall gains.
