I've been in physical pain all night and all day. It's the kind that robs you of your attention and tries to steal your happiness. Now, I'm cruising into another night of pain but God gave me this beautiful reading by Mr. Smith and it reminds me that I will wait upon the Lord. He is my salvation and my strength. Those that wait upon the Lord shall be saved. God is good! This pain will pass but his salvation is forever.

Thats amazing and a answer to prayer. Ive been wanting to do this very same thing. I'm only a singer not a piano player as such, i just kinda noodle around with the keys. Im a life long fan of you Mr. Smith.. Im from Saskatchewan, who lives in Toronto now 2 kids and God just blessed us with a new home. We just moved today. Finally the Kids have their own room. Amen I was able to see you perform with DC talk at Radio City Music hall NY that was awesome 1994? And a few times with Amy Grant back in the day like eye 2 eye was so rad.. Your the reason I started to sing cuz I was trumpet player. But I sang Friends are friends for ever and the girls cried so in grade 9 I joined the choir, then honor choirs then a chamber choir,. That's why I saw you in NY. I actually sang at Carnegie Hall we practice all week it was a dream. The reason I was in NYC we got to perform with my chamber choir because we won 2nd place in Canada and won some money and a recording session and the invite to Carnegie... Good old days, I ended up doing Acapella because I can hit all the high notes. This song and scriptures just impressed me to share my story with you all I guess. I never meet you even when I went to your show at Queensway Cathedral in Toronto 2016, that's was my church before I left because of the move. I helped with kids worship leading and church. I was a worship leader for 10 or more years before that. I hope one day if you ever need a back up vocals I would be honored to join your team even for that moment. Anyway I'm so glad you proved that Gods words are better in a song. Yes you can sing the bible, not just about the human side of what it means to be a Christian, how it feels or about what sounds good over a message that is week at its best attempts to mask the bible truth behind the song in order to make it more appealing. I love all kinds of music, but I've been wanting stuff like this more because its not a song interpretation of Gods word it just simply is Gods word and that's what we need each and every day. Amen.
