I dont agree with that. It came from Screw. And the name should always be linked to Screw. "Screwed and Chopped" is what almost everyone called it back then. The Northside/Southside thing is what kept them from ever calling it that but I didnt know anyone who didnt acknowledge it. A Screw Tape is one thing. That only belongs to DJ Screw. But it bugs me that the "purist" want to keep it Slowed and Chopped. The Shamgod isnt called only when God Shamgod used it on the court. The whole style is from DJ Screw. A "Screwed" hook is used because of him. I dont get why some people refuse to have his name attached to what he created.

All the CDs I got from m&m in Tyler was just burnt CDs shiny on both sides with sharpie saying sb99, playaz holiday, etc.. they weren't bootleg, I met watts dropping them off one day and he signed one for me. Still, I never heard no swishamix whatever, it was screwed and chopped. And when he started putting out legit discs with covers and all it was the same.. he just wants to act like he wasn't biting now.. I was raised on swishahouse so no disrespect, but screw did it first and watts kept it alive after screw passed imo
