Michaela Kiersch Climbs The Golden Ticket 5.14c | First Female Ascent

In November 2016, Michaela Kiersch became the first woman to send The Golden Ticket, a testpiece 5.14c in the Red River Gorge. Michaela's success revolved around sticking a wild dyno that most taller climbers don't have to use. After the dyno comes the typical "crux" of the route, a v10 boulder problem. This short film documents Michaela's impressive send and the journey it took to pull it off.

5:10 I see so many people struggle with this mindset. You're not supposed to do your maximum difficulty in 1-3 attempts, its the process that gets you there in 20+ that gives you that valueable lesson that you can take to the next project.

Just standing under this route made my hands sweat - 2d unfortunately can't do justice to how overhung it is with meager little pockets. Mindblowing to even attempt, let alone work all this stuff out and send.

You're not crazy haha, we just removed it from the old account it was on and uploaded it here to consolidate our work. It's also uploaded on FiveTen's channel and Dailymotion/EpicTV...so it can be watched quite a few places online.
