Marshall is one of the most interesting characters in the franchise imo. He sorta gives off true neutral vibes. Not bad or good, just trying to do his job. And avenge his brother

the joe dark case (and edgeworth's role in it) is never brougth up again like in full, it might get referenced in the future but that's it (the franchise NEVER talks about stuff tied to the mystery of individual cases beyond being EXTREMELY vague, for example Mia's death does get referenced in the future but it's never explained how or why she died, nor is what Von Karma actually did ever spoken about directly and out loud)

phoenix saying "there's too much blood to have come from meekins getting cut" or soemthing could be foreshaddowing that, no, the blood in the evidence room wasn't JUST from meekins.
