A disturbing (and very plausible) theory about this ending is that your character actually dies after beating the Elden Beast, and Shabriri has swiped up your corpse. This would explain why your character is suddenly moving around so whimsically. So congrats, even if ya get this ending, you lose.

I've heard people describe the Chaos Flame as depression or nihilism given form, but that's actually underselling the horror this thing represents. It's antinatalist, essentially the belief that reproduction in any form is immoral because to exist is to suffer. The Frenzied Flame is the God of those who have lost so much that they have come to view life itself as pure misery and anyone that would add more life to the world as _evil._ Essentially anyone who worships this things believes existence is a cardinal sin and all life should be utterly destroyed, not because they're lunatics, but because not existing would be a _genuine improvement_ to their situation.

Personally I consider it a bitter sweet ending because we’ll never know if the world will ever recover from the shattering despite what ending we choose but lord of frenzied flame ending gives us a definitive answer and an end to that suffering caused by the shattering

Ya know, I did this ending and just laughed it off due to having to, well, get naked and get touched by some fingers to unlock the ending, but I never knew the story or lore behind any of it... damn FromSoftware 😭

The best way to describe the chaos flame is pure nihilistic depression. Sometime I suffered with for years. It's not fun I can promise you that. As for the ring at the end. That was torrent. He's summoned with a ring. And he was burning alive. The yellow chaos flame is not benevolent. It is forceful unity. A true cosmic horror.

I wouldn't say the Frenzied Flame is a good or bad endinng. It ends everything. Good, evil, the entire world, everything is destroyed in this ending. It's like a complete total reset of the world where it erases everything.

There's no reset, just an end. You burn the whole world to melt away all the curses, pain and suffering and return it to nothingness. It is evil because, as Melina says, there still is beauty left in the world, despite the suffering, but you chose to be the ultimate nihilist and destroy everything.

@@johnsmith361 Well it also burns away everything wrong about the world. Like I said, it burns everything entirely. Whether right or wrong, good or evil, benevolent or cruel, living or dead. So you can't really say it's good or evil, it's simply just an end.

You should watch Kale's Questline Restored by Sekiro Dubi. Too bad they had to cut that quest. I like Kalé, he is a cool dude

I'd say getting rid of the order is the good ending. So either Frenzied Flame or Age of the stars.

honestly the most "morally good" ending seems to be the gold mask one where he essentially fixes the problems with the order. The age of stars is too vague and unknowable of an ending to know if it is truly good or not or if it is even better than the current order.

@@idirbouchdoug1567 tbh, the Age of Stars ending is just Ranni giving the world Free Will. She became a God, inserted the Moon as the ruling Outer God to stop the influence of the other Outer Gods (keep in mind the Moon is not active like the Greater Will. It is an Outer God of Fate), and led a journey to the Moon to distance herself and us from the Lands Between to give the world true Free Will without influences interfering.

Some people says Frenzied Flame is the worst ending, some people says its the best ending because how f**k up the world in Elden Ring, so you just burned and obliterated everything 🤣. And i heard also the ending of Frenzied Flame is the beginning of the world of Dark Souls 1 and a lot of people agree ( i could be very wrong here, not sure ) but its just very beautiful how they all connect From Software previous souls game ! Anyway great reaction as always, hope to see more in feature 👍

@@LilithixPlays Yeah Kalé is such an interesting npc and too bad a lot of cut content in Elden Ring . I hope one day we can get all the dialogue from the cut content ! Btw there is a lot of wild theory going on with all of the ending in Elden Ring, even Sekiro has connection in one of the ending. Even though its just a theory but its so cool and fun with all this LORE 😁😁

There is no sorting out. It is emptiness. You have removed everything that divides and distinguishes and returned the world to a state of nothingness. It is in-world the worst ending possible.

@itsyaboy9829 that is true...according to those who hate the flame of frenzy. The ending clearly shows that while scorched, the world still exists. The tarnished elden lord of frenzy still lives, as does Melina. That is proof alone that life will survive any ending

@@maxanderson8872 Melania literally says that the Frenzy is consuming life and thought, unending. Not to mention the whole purpose of the ending is to stop suffering, life, existence and births since living in the source of suffering.

The frenzy flame ending is the best ending because: If everyone is ashes, everyone is together forever. If everyone is dead then no one is suffering. If no one can be born then no one will ever suffer again. Also the age of stars is the worst ending, because the entirety of every major problem with the lands between is Ranni's fault. The reason Queen Marika broke The Elden Ring was the grief after the murder of Godwin the Golden. Ranni murdered Godwin during a time of peace. The wars had all just ended, Godwin was next in line to become Lord and everyone loved Godwin for he was kind and just and beautiful. But just because Ranni didnt like her grandpa (The Greater Will), she decided to plunge the world into dissaray by being the first person to kill a demigod and start playing the longest con ever to kick out the gods.
