Morissette Amon is one of the finest singers the Philippines has ever produced and considered by many as among the best vocalists in the world today. She has become a favorite of lots and lots of vocal coaches and reactors worldwide- generating for such channels tens of literally tens of millions of views and tons of subs, with quite a number of channels getting as much as upwards of a million or two views on a single reaction video. Morissette's signature song is Akin Ka Na Lang, a Filipino ballad that is becoming popular even among non-Filipinos. Malaysian superstar Shila Amzah actually made her own version and uploaded it on her channel. Many of Morissette's covers like Against all Odds, Secret Love Song and Never Enough have become the most watched versions/covers. Almost the same time when Morissette put out this cover, she also recorded an a capella version of Rise Up, an Andra Day song and Resignation (a multi-language song). Despite the quarantine and pandemic, Morissette has been busy having mini-concerts and the most current performances she has are Broadway tunes as she performed at Stages Sessions stage. (Side note: Morissette is the most versatile singer in the world today as she can sing all types of genre with ease and aplomb.) She sang: Memory; Defying Gravity; She Used to be Mine; Home; Someone Like You among others. So please More Mori reactions. Thank you!

I'm a metal guy but I do listen to an eclectic array of music, especially world/ethnic music. Pop being my least fav to listen to but I love Mori! She is such a talent an is very musical with her voice. She can sing anything and I love it!

Morissette is a power belter. She sings mostly power ballads and R&B (whitney, mariah, beyonce, adelle, jessie j, ariana songs), but can handle musical theatre (disney, broadway), jazz, soul, rock (her early influence from her Dad's band), and rap as well ... multi faceted singer😊

If you want to see her sing one of her most famous songs live check out Akin Ka Na Lang on the Wish Bus 107.5. She has a couple of intentional vocal breaks on the same note in the first two verses. There's also a couple of suuuuper nice long phrases in that performance. One with a nice chesty mix sustain flipping right up into a perfectly placed, controlled, running whistle. Then an even longer phrase where she's just going off with her belt. The second half of the song is bonkers.

I think some of her live performances on the Wish Bus radio with the intentional breaks are Secret Love Song, Rise Up and her original song Akin Ka Na Lang. Check her original song "akin ka nalang". It's a song where she holds hr breath for 14 seconds without breathing, and her vocal crakcs also and whistle are amazing. She's truly a mariah carey of phillipines. Chect it out and react to her vocal techniques.

Me 2. Hi from California. My favorite singer and performer in the world. She does have many amazing skills. Not to mention she plays the keyboards, guitar and can dance and sing. Or sing almost any song in any genre and change her vocal sound and technique. From R&B and gospel to Disney and rock to country and Broadway to OPM. She can do it all.
