Damn. She has such a strong voice, she actually is stepping back from the mic, usually singers have to hold it right to their mouths. Usually when singers get older they lose the power and ability to hit the big notes anymore. I saw Mariah Carey last year try and sing her song "Emotions", she couldn't hit hardly any of the high notes at all and she was changing the tempo and stuff so to hide the fact her voice just wasn't as strong anymore. But Michel'le sounds just as good as she did in 1990. I'm sure she practices a lot. Luckily when Dre used to beat her, nothing happened to her voice. She is so much better than most the female vocalists today. She could blow Ariana Grande, JLo or Selena Gomez right off the stage.

Michel'le gave straight vocals. Her voice is stronger now than in the late 80's, early 90's. She has also sharpened her singing skills. I want you all to really understand that Michel'le is the forerunner to Mary J. Blige. She was singing over and hip hop beats long before Blige. The music just wasn't titled hip hop soul. A slew of contemporary singers from several genres owes Michel'le respect because she laid the groundwork for their careers

Still love Michelle after all of these years. I met her in Japan when I worked for Atlantic Records and had the fortune of breaking "No More Lies" in Tokyo and Kyoto. She was the bomb back then and she still keeps the flames of R&B burning brightly!!!

In her case I think race had little to do w her success, or lack there of. Many black singers can blow and became superstars like Whitney, Tina, and Toni. Had she left Dre's psycho ass, she could've been really famous too.

timothyy pearson she chose to leave no one forced her your career is your own responsibility not someone else's in life we all have choices and she made terrible ones which she had admitted too. she messed her self over not once but twice! she shouldve stayed at ruthless and the second time around she shouldve left deathrow when dre left. she ruined her own career playing politics. dr dre was the best producer at ruthless so she probably figured she was doomed if she stayed plus dre was her man at the time so it's natural to follow his lead. second time she was right for leaving dre but got with suge cause he had all the money and power at the time and dre career had slowed he wasn't making that many hits in the late 90s tupac was on top. but im glad she told her story now her career is picking up again so I guess things happen for a reason.

It is crazy how her voice goes from Minnie Mouse like to this. She still sounds the same way she did when this song first came out. There are some singers who don't sound the same way they did when they first came out. Some singers voices start to weaken a bit around age 40. It is insane that she is 43 and still sounds the way she did when she was a teenager.

She's actually 47. Not 43(when she preformed this live). Her mother states that she was born in Freemont,CA in 1967. And was 21 when Eazy E discovered her in an L.A. Nightclub in 1988.

Eazy E did not discover her. The lead to The Group Dre was originally in discovered her. When Dre was in that singing group wearing sequence outfits long before Eazy E. She sang background vocals for that group and Dre kept in touch which is when they started dating then Dre hooked up with Eazy and formed NWA. People talk but need to shut up

Spectacular, Mama Michel'le. I find it interesting that no one has ever remade this. Shoot, If I was a singer I would never step to this one. It's like doing Teena Marie's "Portuguese Love". The margin for error is razor thin. Just look at the album cover say: "Wow, Michel'le has some pretty eyes and keep it moving."
