Michel is one of the gods of jazz, is one of the gods of the piano. And extremely modest man. See how it says a lot about 45 seconds after completing the game. How to respond to applause. Not wallows in them, only modestly thanks. Then he talks to children. Such a small - and so big. A brilliant pianist. Rest in peace, Michel.

4:04 By Martin Chilton - Published on December 28, 2021 “My biggest inspiration is Duke Ellington, because in my very early age he gave the inspiration to play the piano,” said Petrucciani. He was particularly proud of his 1992 album Promenade With Duke, on which the Frenchman honored the music Ellington composed and played; his seven-minute version of “Caravan” explores every nuance of the 1936 hit Ellington wrote with trombonist Juan Tizol.
