Michel Voncken in Concert (A&C Hamilton, Preston)

Just some snippets from a concert on Tuesday 7th October 2914.
We've wanted to see Michel for ages and he did not disappoint in any way. Look out for the new function on the Tyros 5 that applies a trill on the brass and voice from 2:35 mins. I know its been around for ages but Michel Voncken gives it a new twist! LOL.
Not that much technical stuff mentioned but the Tyros 5 performed and sounded very well.

It was so nice to find this video and see Michel playing away and having fun. I think he and Peter Baartmans are 2 of the best demonstrators and musicians for Yamaha and other manufacturers could learn a thing or two from them regarding showcasing an instrument. Always a thrill to see Michel, I know he has had health problems - bravo Michel maestro!

I wish I knew he was coming but all the mailings I use to get from AC went to my Nans house shes no linger with us but it looks like ill be buying my tyros from them anyhow so ill be changing addresses in the near future so ill know about events coming up looked brilliant any how awesome player is michel

WOW! Great to see that this keyboard is so good that it's still being demonstrated in 2914 ! Please check above. Incidentally, I'm sure that there still will be keyboard players, pianists and organists in 900 years time! Although there might be a significant skills shortage? However, the way that the world is going at moment, music could well be illegal by then and maybe driven underground (like the "Cavern Club" ...)
