What a marathon declutter! And for those who feel this is all very excessive and going on about overconsumption and consumerism, at least for me this helps me to have more curated makeup and be more intentional and thoughtful with own purchases. And don’t forget this is part of the job of a content creator ❤

I’m often overwhelmed with the 8 eyeshadow palettes that I own. I can’t imagine having hundreds of palettes and having to decide which one to use.

Wow, wow, wow! The amount of times I was shouting, “Keep it, keep it Michele!” 😂 You are allowed to be a collector of rare makeup palettes and collections. I understand that you don’t want to wear makeup that is no longer available in case we ask, “What’s that eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, bronzer, highlighter, etc?”, which is incredibly thoughtful of you, but you are allowed to have your guilty pleasures. Mine happens to be antiques and art, but I don’t have children, so many will, and do say 🙄, what’s the point? Because it brings me joy to find them and to look at them. I think who ever receives your beautiful makeup will be delighted-gosh, some of the brands aren’t even available in South Africa, such as Chantecaille (yet we have several Tambotie trees on our farm 😂), and other brands that are available will have very limited colour releases, and only after a year to two after their US and European launches. As we approach Christmas, and the new year, I want to thank you for the the ways you have inspired me to be better and do better for myself; I started looking after my skin again, I’ve started buying new makeup, and am getting ready to declutter, and reorganise my wardrobe and face my long-term health and wellbeing goals, which includes pretty much what you did, and may I say, you are looking fantastic! So a huge thank you. With much love and appreciation 🙏❤️

YES I looovee makeup declutter videos, so seeing a 3 hour declutter video subscriptions is such a treat! Also, if you're done with a product, some Sephoras have a bin in their stores with Pact Collective where if you clean out the product and throw it in the bin, they find ways to repurpose/reuse the packaging.

So satisfying! I love the part where what you keep goes back in the drawers, sped up, and the clickety clack of everything.
