Michelin Bib Gourmand Jin Kor Char Kuey Teow and Joo Hooi Cafe Penang Road! This Char Koay Teow has been consistent all these years and still deliver the wok hei! The prawns are really HUGE! Order the duck egg version!
This coffeeshop has all the legendary food and is the go to place if you are also going for the famous Teow Chew Chendul! Ah the famous chendul! You can now bring in the cendol into the coffee shop now that the shop is bought over by the cendol stall!

I’ve seen better Char Kway Teow here in Australia with more noodle and protein. Nice to know I don’t have to go overseas for a good one.

In fact I also found a better Pan Mee branch in Melbourne which was better than the original in Kuala Lumpur 🫣. I think it is the better ingredients too. Prawns are so cheap since Vietnam started farming them 20 years ago. Not sure why it is such a big deal in Singapore and Malaysia

The hawkers in Penang all use paper plates now unlike when I was young all use plates. Sad right? Thanks for watching.
