FYI: Regarding tread life, my vehicle is fairly light at 3200lbs. The specific vehicle, wheel profile setup, driver habits, climate/environment, and especially proper maintenance inflation etc… will always be pivotal to tire life and longevity! One observation is that the inner tread sipes are now straight and not very sharp, as opposed to their original defined zig zag formation. May or may not affect upcoming snow/ice performance this winter. The tread features on these however are full depth, as well as Michelin’s thermally adaptive compound! • Michelin Cross Climate... These tires are directional*, rotate only straight forward and back, no crossing
NOTE: GAS MILEAGE Did go down slightly. And depending on exact vehicle/setup you may lose a few MPG. You’ll save a good chunk of that money later when not having to swap mount out tires in the winter, nor purchase a separate set. But for a Crosstrek like my car, the observed small difference was of little matter.
