Michelle Mone admits she lied to media about PPE deals and profits

The former Conservative peer Michelle Mone and her husband, Doug Barrowman, have acknowledged for the first time that he made multimillion pound profits from two PPE deals during the Covid pandemic. In an interview with the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday, Mone and Barrowman both admitted they lied to the media for years when they denied they were involved with the company awarded the contracts, PPE Medpro Ltd.

I cannot stand this short clip. This looks like is a very complacent interview. She got £200 MILLIONS and made £60MILLIONS profit after all the expenses her husband’s company claimed. She did not reveal the company was managed and controlled by her husband. Some people in the country go to jail from stealing food from Tesco. Setting up a Trust overseas can be a very effective way to avoid UK tax. It should have be mentioned that she left the country and not planning to come back to cooperate with the investigation and that the interview was made abroad. For me it looks like she is on the run. This is a serious crime committed against every person living in the Uk and she is looking for my support. Absolutely NOT ! Come back to the UK, face the investigation, do your time in jail and give back the money and apologise for your actions. Then I will apologise and move forward.
