I love this artist on artist action. This just shows how good you are that other artists trust you. This was so fun and cute. Thank you for all you do. In an industry flooded with gross over applying cake face and crazy “hacks” you are here at the right time to show people how it’s really done. I love how Michelle is comfortable saying that she never claimed to be a makeup artist, and that there is a difference between a makeup artist vs a person who makes videos on yt on makeup..makeup guru. I do actually appreciate how careful and gentle he is with his guests as well, I think too many people treat the model like an unfeeling canvass that they slap paint on, and sometimes I imagine the poor models leave the studio feeling a little bruised with how rough some of them can get. The skin around our eyes and mouth especially are so thin and delicate, it requires a softer touch to avoid injuring the area. Makeup artists that are gentle on their models seem much more respectful, to me.

This is the most satisfying makeup video I've seen in a while. Hung delivers a master class and Michelle is just such a gentle, eloquent, stunning portrait of a woman. I am also impressed that no filters were used to blur out her skin texture. That gives me great confidence in what I'm seeing.

Watching this video makes me so emotional somehow! Teary eyes. It’s like existing on both late 2010s and 2022 timelines at the same time. I love Michelle, she was always so ahead of her times. I remember buying a Lancome concealer way WAY back in the days after watching her videos! Always loved her sultry voice and the way she edited her videos, and her gentle generous spirits! I get the same feelings from all the videos I have watched of Hung, the same gentle voice, and this unmatched generosity of the spirits. It’s so rare. I can’t believe we get to learn all of these tips and tricks from such greats! Watching Hung and Michelle in the same video is such a bizarre feeling, 2 different timelines coming and blending together like the dreamiest eyeshadows, in the bestest possible way. And that was without doubt my longest youtube comment. Thank you Hung. Thank you Michelle. Still can’t get over this video! 😭

I’ll never tire of watching you work. Michelle had a great observation, your strokes really do seem deliberate. I’m now curious that I might be over applying &/or blending by not being so precise. I always seem to learn or figure out something new from watching your videos.

27:30 that is so true! I never use more than 3 colors at a time (and that's when I am feeling fancy) my smokey eyes usually consist of no more than 1-2 colors
