I was thinking of doing this . I don’t mind working in a salon but sometimes I feel depending on the salons they take more money from you to benefit them. I can’t wait to start school and renting a place to do my work or once I move have a nice finished basement and turn that into my studio

I also use arrowroot powder for my waxes never thought to use cornstarch im a esthetician student so I appreciate this video alot I hope one day to have my own suite

Hello, do you use the same light still? I’m trying to find a better light for when I’m doing facials. I have a ring light but I’ve had to catch it 😬 before it hits a client and when I position my head a certain way it creates a shadow which can make getting extractions difficult b/c the visual aspect same when dermaplaning sometimes

I get what you mean!! Yes i have the same light and the best thing has been to put one on one side and use the magnifying lamp light on the other side so boom no shadows😝💕

Where i am they said as long as there is one close in the building that is NOT used in the bathroom or for restroom purposes it is fine. So it works out for me because our sink is in the kitchen literally next to my suite. Im the closest to the sink. So far, no issues with it being nextdoor

Yes and no. Yes you’ll learn the basics, so its good for that, but no you’ll definitely need to take some outside training class for next level tips and skill.

I do yes, depending on your state as long as the sink is very near you its fine. You can also add a portable sink in your suite if you want or a hot kettle

Heyyy, All depends what area exactly but my particular start out cost for rent only was $500 (a few years ago)......now i know many places are way more than this based on economy.
