Speed of light from pt P to m2 will be c-v and from m2 to P will be c+v as if 2 vehicles are moving with different velocity in same direction then we will find difference in speed and if a vehicle is passing in opposite direction with a velocity v and i m moving in opposite direction with v' then velocities will be added i.e , (v+v')

Tt me error hai, last step me if u r dividing by c^2 then it should be 2L/C^2 instead of 2L/C. If T3 k last second step me divide by C^2 kartey hai to Tt ki equation sahi bnegi, just check once if I'm not wrong.

sir since class 9th and 10th i`ve learned that light can travel without a medium but you are saying that it requires a medium to travel .i have this doubt it would be kind of you if you help me clear it . Was it believed at that time that it requires a medium to travel before it was discovered that it can travel in space or vaccum too .?

Yes as sir mentioned at that time it was believed that light travels through any medium which they call luminferous ether. So this experiment was conducted to prove it's existence but result was negative i.e. no such thing exists in space.
