If it wasn’t for injury he would have been a top 3 RB in his class.. probably #1.. if he bounces back his senior year his stock will rise again.. this is 100% a steal〽️🔥

I agree but it’s a huge question mark on if he does bounce back. It’s been over a year since his injury so he should be fully recovered but so far, he hasn’t impressed in the camps

I also think NIL is trending up, especially since we just landed a top tier QB Brady Hart, hes obviously going to require a little bit of money at least, and we are trending up with Andrew Marsh and its definitely rare to lead for a top-100 WR without paying at least a little bit of money

We don’t pay recruits to come here. They can earn NIL money once they enroll though. They have created a lot more NIL opportunities for athletes, so that could be helping them more

It is trending up .. heavily since Michigan (Sherrone/ hiring high caliber people to expand NIL opportunities... NFLPA vice president Teresa Whitehead came back to her alma mater to basically earn less (maybe) and make those opportunities stellar. Athlon merge..etc.) were good buddy! Go BLUE 🟡🔵〽️〽️〽️〽️🌩️⚡🔨🌹🌠🏆

Here's what it is for Michigan running backs going back years..... Any running back that comes to Michigan is guaranteed to be running behind one of the best offensive lines in college football.... Michigan doesn't need to recruit 5 star RBs to be successful in the running game.

Anthony Thomas Chris Perry Jamie Morris Ed Davis Billy Taylor Fitz Tousaint Ricky Powers Chris Howard Rob Lytle And on and on... Michigan O-Line made these guys and many others legendary in the history of Wolverine football.... GO BLUE!

Why is it that every recruit is stated as having “high upside” or is “underrated”. Every player has a big upside as a high school player going into college.

Because Michigan recruits differently than a lot of programs, who chase stars. They evaluate talent using their own criteria which often results in them finding players who could be ranked higher if their circumstances were different - Donovon Johnson's injury being a prime example, or are players whose current ranking may be lower but is trending up and will likely be higher when this season is done.

@@RICOJEEZUS Cope? No team has been better at turning guys nobody wanted into draft picks. Michigan was Ronnie Bell's only offer. Do you think he wasn't underrated? Hassan Haskins didn't have much of an offer sheet either. DJ Turner II, Luke Schoonmaker, Trevor Keegan, Kenneth Grant, and Michael Barrett were all threes too. The list goes on...

Don’t get why they went for Donovan Johnson over Jordan Davison…. He hasn’t played since his sophomore season. Didn’t play his junior season and hasn’t played in IMG’s spring practices. Borderline 3 star with a former knee injury. 🤦‍♂️ feel we’re gonna regret not prioritizing Jordan

We did prioritize Davison, the coaching staff obviously felt he wasn’t going to commit. Johnson has potential to be a big steal for Michigan though

Forget the stinking three-star players! This is pretty poor for a team that just won the national championship last season. You can spin it any way you want. They are still three-star players. And injured four-star? Stop the Kool-Aid will you?
