I grew up 27mi south of Kalamazoo and lived 5 minutes walking distance from 5 lakes and man I miss that now that I live in ky with few lakes and all are man made so no Lillie’s or reeds for topwater etc… I really miss it.

Just started bass fishing and found your channel. I live in Oakland county too! 👍🍺. Caught my first bass of the season on Easter with a Texas rig. The way you guys killed it I guess its not too cold for them. Thanks for the content brotha 🦦👍

Any updates on the baitcasters? I got one of the googan rods for Christmas and want to use it this season but I don’t have a reel. I am wondering if I should just get a different brand or will they not be much longer?

The ABU GARCIA 6600 is a good reel. No backlash and you can cast far with it. Not too expensive either.

Catch and release is the only way to keep the lakes in good fishing condition. Eat the blue gills and put the rest back.

I love pike fishing but the population of pike and musky in the inland lakes is really low. They need to be re-stocked badly!!! Pike and Musky should not be kept. Release them and make our lakes great again!
