Here is our "Way To Early" 2024 Michigan Wolverines football predictions video for every college football game of the 2024 season.
We're going to go game by game and break each matchup down. Along the way we will predict the final outcome of each matchup, and predict Alabamas final record on the season.
The SEC as a whole has gone through massive changes this year. The BIG 10 has added Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon Ducks. We have the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners coming into the SEC conference. The road to the SEC championship is now more difficult. We have also had Nick Saban, the GOAT himself retire. We welcome in Kalen Deboer as the new Head Coach of the Crimson Tide. Kirby Smart though is still in charge in the SEC conference. The college football playoffs have also expanded to 12 teams now starting this year. Brent Venables looks to compete with other SEC coaches. Dan Lanning is re tooling. LSU Tigers and Brian Kelly look to replace Heisman winner Jayden Daniel’s. Napiers try's to get the Gators back to a bowl game. FSU looks to get back to playoff contention. The Texas A&M Aggies look to rebound under Mike Elko and the departure of Jimbo Fisher. Mario Cristobal looks to try to build on last seasons campaign. Marcus freeman looks to take Notre Dame to the next level. Can Sherrone Moore get the wolverines to continue their streak.
Let's take a close look at each of these games being of season to end.

Washington fan and alum. Playing in Seattle won't be a revenge game with only 20 of 22 starters from 2023 returning and new coach, and Michigan doing some rebuilding. Michigan will win this one, but hopefully my boys will keep it respectable. I can see Michigan going 11-1 or 10-2. Will be rooting for Michigan when they play Ohio State - as always. When those teams play, you can ignore all the predictions, stats and Las Vegas odds.

That’s the truth. Good point. Having just played in national championship against one another there’s always a revenge factor. Even if the teams are different. I hear you though. Wash has a bright future, hopefully Fisch can keep his hot hand going

Michigans not losing all 3 to Texas, Oregon & OSU. I think they lose a close one to Texas week 2 and beat Oregon at home probably lose a close one to OSU. People need to start giving this team more respect defense is loaded with talent and the offense still returns Colson Loveland and Donovan edwards.

Excellent points. I agree on the respect factor, I did pick Mich to win the natty last year on my pre season prediction. I just think their offense is decimated by the draft. Their 128 out of 132 in returning production. But I hear your point, and it’s a sound argument. I can see them stealing one of those 3. And a 10-2 season Would be massive considering how many players went to the NFL

Lol, it’s right in line with the Vegas prediction. I haven’t watched other vids but if their predicting a similar record I can understand why. But let me ask, what do you think their record will be? I can see anywhere from 8-4 to 10-2. So I see 9-3, but that’s just me

They should win all the games they’re supposed to lose their three biggest games of the season, Texas, Oregon Ohio State. 9-3 Falling in line with whatever everyone else thinks Both Oregon and Texas have to go to Ann Arbor Ohio State hasn’t beaten Michigan since 2019. That game is in Columbus. They’re due. 11-1 and playin for a B1G championship.〽️〽️

9-3 be a great season 👍 Michigan lost great coaching, great players, cheaters, and a way way harder schedule now on top of that.

At best 12-1. At worst 10-2. I’m a Michigan Wolverines fan. I try my best to be realistic. Every Michigan fan wants to go undefeated.

@@thomasorzack5795 it’s not that, that was 5 years ago. And they’ve lost 3 straight times. Harbaugh is gone, so I’d say he must beat Michigan this year

+/- 8 wins; too much is unproven. a lot of new staff, hardest schedule in the country, new QB.

I think Michigan has the best defense in the country They will win one of OSU Texas or Oregon 10-2 makes the playoffs

Great point. Their defense is going to be very good again. 10-2 would be a great follow up on last season with a new first year coach. Very possible

Here is how I see it as a UM fan. The team won't be as good as last year (duh) because JJ was better than given credit for with managing the game and letting the D do it's job. I personally think this defense will be as good, slightly worse or better than last year. Look at the depth and the guys both on the DL and linebackers. Not fooling myself...this D is loaded. Unfortunately for UM...too many guys to replace on O especially on the line and Corum will be missed. Does UM have a qb, even if not a great passer, that can make plays. The D plus ST's can't stop the better teams from scoring on occasion unless they are the 85 Bears. UM will run into problems if it's opposition can score at least 20 so I see UM 8-4 or 11-1 depending on how great the D is and it may be great. The offense will slug many times. My point is that UM could be great because the D has the potential to be all time great. If it's not...then 8-4. Hope that makes sense. Don't sell this D short.

No that makes perfect sense. I think you actually summed up the way I’m seeing the season as well. As you mentioned, depending on a few things, it could be a great year, or an 8-4 year. We’ll have to see how they replace all of those offensive starters, we know the defense will perform.

@3rd-And-Long UM is going to have to run its way to be 11-1. Control the clock. I honestly dont see it happening. Too one dimensional. Now i could see Warren And Orji doing it. Teams are going to load the box and make Orji read coverages and take away perimeter. If Coach Moore wants to go this way then go full Tommy Frazier. Orji isnt going to turn into Brian Griese. Think DRob but worse throwing the ball which shouldnt be a pleasant thought.

Good point, there has been a lot of praise for him. I guess most just want to see what he looks like once he gets some reps in. But you’re right, the hype is there for sure

Agreed, and good point. but that was 2020, 3 game losing streak so it’s back to a “can he get it done?” I think he does this year though and gets that hurdle off his back

@@3rd-And-Long definitely see your point, I think so as well. I’ve had to debate with so many about will Howard being an upgrade over Kyle and the fact that he might not even be starting Devin brown could very well win the job this fall.

I’d say it’s more about the win/loss predictions then the score predictions this early out. But if I did 20 too many times then you’re right, that won’t happen for sure. They’ll still have a top 20 defense
