Michigans Adventure - Cedar Fair's Neglected Park

Күн бұрынMichigans Adventure is commonly cited as the worst Cedar Fair owned amusement park. I have visited multiple times, but I primarily want to discuss my visit from June 10th 2023 and Cedar Fair's mind boggling lack of investment in this busy park. There is so much that needs done here, from deferred maintenance on rides to a new coaster, something they haven't seen for over 15 years.

Great trip report! I've been wanting to check this park out for a while since it's not terribly far away from me. But when it's the same distance for me as Cedar Point, it just makes more sense to go to a park that I know has good operations and great coasters. Still, Shivering Timbers looks amazing and the setting of the coasters on the look does give Michigan's Adventure some interesting visuals.

I agree that the park looks nice. Everything seems to have a new paint job and I like the lake setting. It kills me with how busy I saw this park, that they let it sit here with so little investment year after year. My 2024 wish list for the park now is to see Wolverine Wildcat get its 2nd half retracked and for Timbers to get its valleys retracked.
