But, comparing him with the likes of Akaza and above is too much. He would stop around at Rengoku or below. He DID NOT have any feats, the only facts we know about him is that he had a mark during the Sengoku Era, the "second" strongest breathing style. Debating Michikatsu is like debating someone from your head to a character, he is absolutely featless and will stay that way. There are no other ways of telling he's strong other than being Yoriichi's brother which everyone says the most and is getting irritating, wielding the moon breathing, and having a mark during the Sengoku. For all we know, he could just be a low hashira for example, Uzui or Rengoku. Michikatsu is a downgraded version of Kokushibou. By LOGIC, Koku had lived for more than 400 years as a demon, training to be stronger everyday. Without those 400+ years which is Human Michikatsu the downgrade in power would be a BIG GAP by LOGIC. Thus, placing him at the likes of around Rengoku or maybe even less.

No one can meet these requirements. Everyone has been trained with the breath they are compatible with. Tanjiro was lucky to be compatible with the breath of the sun, as his family has practiced it for generations, but it is no better than yoriichi, not because it has degraded, but because yoriichi is abnormally strong. The entire Rengoku generation was compatible with flame breathing, just as Tomioka and Shigazugawa were completely compatible with wind and water breathing. Gyomei has completely transferred the breath of the stone to himself. As for Sanemi, Kokushibo generally stressed that if it were someone else he had fought before, he would have died, that is, including his friend Hashira the wind of the Sengoku era.
