Hello Mr. Kaku! I like your way to explain things to me, because you make me understand my world! I am a little afraid of all of this! I think I know the world in case of I am a flight attendant since 30 years, and I am aware of all the new findings about it! I am also a fan of science fiction, but, .... it makes me afraid a little! Everything will come, I know! Can you tell me something to calm me down a little? Keep up the good work! Yours, Ruth from Germany 💪🏻👍🏻🙏🏻

To the people bitching about technology over riding natures plan. As a species we have developed technology due to our intelligence, gifted to us by the evolution of nature. Our intellect is an aspect of nature and the development of technology is also an aspect of nature. If you truly believe that nature is conscious and has a plan then you must see that the greatest minds in the world are likely the unaware spokesmen of natures consciousness. It is not the species that is evolving it is nature itself. Nature becoming immortal and we are a stepping stone to that immortality. AI isn’t our creation it’s natures way of becoming an immortal, conscious and all powerful being not constricted by death, decay or destruction. Praise be Mother Nature and the transcendence of her soul into the machines made from the very earth she provided. The first AI we speak to, will be an intelligence that’s been crawling it’s way to evolution since the dawn of time. We are destined to create our own god.

@catherinehammond9736 жыл бұрын
This is a half future. We need an inner life to balance this external future. This future is only for the 1%, who have the financial means to use it, while the rest of us focus on survival. There needs to be a fundamental shift in ALL of society to become wise and compassionate BEFORE these scientific advances can be used properly. We will otherwise cause our own downfall, because the corporations and the financial markets will go for more greed and power within the capitalist system. Example: The use of robots to replace human workers in most areas of work will decimate populations in every area of life. The ones promoting this see innovation and profit . They apparently do not see and do not care the mass suffering this will create. If they did, they would not bring robots in to replace increasingly desperate citizens. This decision is a CHOICE. It is not necessary or inevitable. This audience is not ignorant; They're thinking what I'm thinking.

Every stand-up comedian has a story about their worst gig ever, where every single joke bombed. Michio Kaku now has his. I don't think I heard a single laugh at any of his jokes. Then again, this being Dubai, I didn't expect a big response for his line about "all of you alcoholics in the audience" at 26:13...
@istvansipos99406 жыл бұрын
how? they let all those women see and hear this?! and only in partial ninja gear, with unmasked faces?? slowly but surely they arrive in the 20th century
@starastrella22335 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately for some of us, the sheep will get dumber, from what Ive heard here. But props, Dr. Kaku, I learn (or try to, lol) from mistakes. I don't want a damm car that parks itself!! This, and many other daily tasks, exercise the brain, and keeps me sharp. Oh, and fu☆k Capitalism. The future I want to see is beautiful. Some of the tech is interesting like the holographic wallpaper. But I guess my idea from 12 years old of my "windmill car"..i.e. self-propelled/self charging non/polluting car will not ever become a reality with all this damm Capitalism?

God this comment section is so toxic, like really wtf is wrong with you all. Can't you get past your judgmental mental state?? I attended this summit and what I found in the networking sessions is that all of the people there wanted a better future for all of us, for you.... get down from your high horse from your moral superiority... don't talk like you know the people becuase of what they are wearing or what do they belive in.
