I was there! I went for my birthday/ promotion and it was AMAZING! I didn't know Darren was going to be there and I was so happy and surprised he was!!! He is my biggest inspiration and idol in music. I was speechless it was awesome :D

Darren is very, very young. His career is only getting started. He will have the opportunity to show off the various facets of his talent as he goes on. Being on Glee is best for him right now. For someone as multi-talented as Darren, it's difficult to find a single vehicle that will allow him to show off ALL of his talents. There's nothing wrong with being a part of a whole, like Darren is with Glee. He doesn't need to be the one-and-only of everything he does. He can be part of a team.

Totally agree ;) Though I also think Glee has changed Darren a little..but who wouldn't change after such an incredible success and that huge new glee fanbase.. I love that he is still trying to keep up with StarKid Productions although he is more than busy with glee..

I LOVE glee..don't get me wrong..but I think during the last season the show didn't do justice to his ENORMOUS talent... He composes, plays what? 7 different instruments, is a brilliant actor.. He has so much more talent than what he shows us (during his 5-minute-appearances) on glee every week..that's what I was trying to say..:D of course I know he'd never quit glee because he loves it so much ;)

You realise that a concert is about the live experience not about possible youtube videos, right? If they want to express their elation by screaming they have every right to do so... I always sing along as much as I can and I'm still able to hear the artist. They have these nice soundsystems for that...

I get that it is annoying on a youtube video to have all of the girls screaming and singing along, however at a concert that is what the artist wants. If no one is screaming and singing along to their songs then it sends the message that the audience isn't into it. Also, in concerts the audience is usually urged several times to sing along. What was the last concert you went to where people sat quietly and listened and just politely clapped at the end? I can't imagine it was as much fun as this.

I think most people, like myself, go to SEE the artist.. if i wanted to hear them, that's what the CD is for.

I don't mind the singing along, I would do that too, but the screaming's really annoying.

well, she's not really a starkid, because little white lie was before team starkid. I think that Nick said she's Canadian in one of the interviews, and that little white lie was filmed during one summer that everyone was in town.

my problem is not the singing along. what i dislilke is the screaming. it's a sound of terror. if you want to show your joy why don't you cheer or clap? would be a lot nicer and wouldn't make people feel so uncomfortable. i would never ever scream into somebody's face to show them that i like them. o0 that's just stupid.
