Both men are immensely talented. They've had their rough patches in their relationship over the years and it's great to see them not only get the nomination but to get together and perform. Lou sounded great. Lou will always be one of my favorite vocalists. He left the band and Mick recruited Kelly Hanson...nothing wrong with that. Mick still wanted to perform and tour.

Lou Gramm will always be the voice of Foreigner and the one I always hear. He has given so much to Foreigner, their fans,(like me!) & to music. The induction to the songwriters Hall of Fame is well-deserved, and long overdue! I think many people forget his contributions to the music world. He gave so much for so long as Foreigner's lead singer and a solo artist. It almost took his life, he didn't know he had a brain tumor until it was killing him & he almost died! Despite all of the problems he has he came back to Foreigner, the fans and music....he deserves the utmost respect!! (Something he doesn't always get) He will always have mine, I'm a life long fan!....1977-2018 🎼🎤❤️

After viewing some videos of Mick & Kelly I can honestly say that even at 63 Lou blows their crap out of the water, Lou Gramm is Foreigner always will be. Mick, redeem yourself and reunite with Lou and give us true Foreigner fans one last world tour and save the Foreigner legacy before its to late.
@user-iu5ge5mj8o10 жыл бұрын
HA HA HA HA HA HA! That was a reunion for the sake of the RRHOF and that is all. Lou deserves to be there for what he did 20 years ago, no question. But, as far as that performance--I have heard better performances at Bar Mitzvah's. People would walk out on that.
@tryithere10 жыл бұрын
Lou is missing some of what he had but I would still much rather hear Lou than Hansen. I went to a concert with Hansen et al. and all I kept thinking was I paid to hear a cover band.
@user-iu5ge5mj8o10 жыл бұрын
tryithere Oh please. Hansen has been the vocalist for almost 10 years now. Thom Gimbel has been with Mick for almost 20 years and Jeff Pilson has been with him for 10 years. I believe that qualifies the authenticity of Foreigner. Other than Mick, the "original" members have been gone for decades. Most bands that have been around as long as Foreigner go through personnel changes like that. You must know that "Lou" hasn't performed with the band since 2002 so why did you "[pay] to hear a cover band"? Why didn't you "pay" to go see "Lou" and his Foreigner cover band? You probably didn't pay to see anybody. If Mick brought Lou back hardly anybody would "pay" to see Foreigner, at least not more than once. It's sad that Lou had his health problem, but he did. Mick has health issues, too--and so will all the rest of us some day. Life ain't fair. Lou will not be back with Foreigner. Get over it.
@tryithere10 жыл бұрын
chanel #9 Lou Gramm doesn't tour as Foreigner, he tours as Lou Gramm and sings some of Foreigner's songs. Mick Jones tours as Foreigner. I went to see Foreigner in Memphis just hoping to see Mick sing Starrider and The Modern Day and the piece of shit didn't even bother to show up. I saw a true tribute band. The reason why the original six have been long gone is because Mick fired them all with his huge ego. It was amazing how many people in the audience didn't know that nobody on stage was the actual Foreigner whereas at a Lou Gramm concert. they know who they are going to see. Mick is a talented d****e'.

All Mick said as he stared at me was "So where is the party?" I should have said..I am not on the job anymore and left with them in the limo..Not to be anything but take them to a good sushi restaurant and dine with such an amazing talented force...They were magnificent!!!!
