I have always always always wanted Mick to make a solo album. He was motley crue. He was the only one to never leave or do a solo project, and he was the only one who should have. I haven't been excited for new music in a long time. MICK YOU ARE A KICK ASS MUSICIAN MAN.

Mick Mars should have done solo work years ago. He's such a musical genius. Don't listen to the crap that Nikki Sixx spits out. If it wasn't for Mick Mars there wouldn't be a Motley Crue.
@paulmazzola3989 ай бұрын
You got that right! Mick Mars and Vince Neil made the band despite what people say about Vince Neil. The other two bone heads are arrogant and can't get their head out of their asses.

Yes he is the sound and John 5 doesn't have Mick's tone. To me Mick is motley crue.

Humble and underrated, that's Mick. He is not appreciated enough. NO ONE PLAYS LIKE HIM!...Not even John 5, not even close...no offence to John. His tone and feel is so original and unmatched. Glad he's moving forward. He chose the best drummer he could in Ray. Above and beyond all keep yourself well, Mick, and know that you and appreciated so much. I will add that I do hope you can realease some of the material you worked on with Corabi, it sounded like the best thing I've ever heard! Love the massive sounding new single BTW! I know you love the blues, as I do, but was glad you came out slamming! Thanks for keeping it heavy and real! We know who the greedy, arrogant bastards are!...

To whom it may give a fuck, The first song and music aside, Trunk's interview is for this Cruehead of 39 years the epitome of the cover of Entertainment or Death (Theatre of Pain). I simultaneously shed a couple of tears while smiling. Mother Fucking Mick Mars is a true gentleman, humble, and just cut from a different cloth. His concern for others and his unnasuming disposition is a dark breath of fresh air. My relationship with The Crue's music since '84 has always made them feel like family to me. Often getting me through the darkest of times. However, this Cruehead stands with The Other Side of Mick Mars! I'm extremely disappointed with the Toxic Twins; T-Bone and Sixx really fucked up this time. I know it sounds strange but, it feels like a true betrayal of a broken family for me. That being said, I'm really looking forward to this album. Mick is truly avant-garde in his artistry and the heart of the band formally known as.....I'll never say their name again. Let's leave Planet Boom, fly right on by The Last Band on the Moon, and all meet up on The Other Side Of Mars. E.T.A.= Feb. 27th at 13:13 local martian time. - Shawn "KNOCK'em" Gordon.

@knockemdeadkid6549 ай бұрын
@@pet1914 P.S. I remember a Mars quote that says it all. The interviewer asked Mick: Can you think of anything in life that could be as awesome as being a famous rockstar? Mars: "I dunno, maybe walking to the gas station and buying a pack of cigarettes."😁
@user-fu8gq5xg5u19 ай бұрын
Motley - fucked up. They can't write nothing new without Mick. Mick is not just a guitar player, he is the soul of the band. His riffs made Motley unic. Agressive, loud, brutal. Too fat, too tasty, too powerful. John 5 - good guitar player, and he looks like young sixx, but he is not Motley. Big difference in sound. John - clean and mechanically play cuz this songs not his. Mick - power and energy, and every gig he play all songs in different ideas. Same solo but new moves every time. Totally on Mick's side. T-bone and Sixx fucked up

I saw Motley open from Ozzy on the Bark at the Moon tour in January of 1984. They came out and tore it up. I remember standing about 15 away from Mick. He had a black Flying V and played incredibly well. And his sound! And one more thing, as a drummer, and not a guitar player, Mick seemed to be a very graceful, disciplined player. He looked like he was enjoying himself. And this was when he was starting to deal with his spinal disease, I think. He has the ability to sound like 2 guitar players at once. Keep up the great work Mick.

Mick is just a straight shooter and there’s not a fake or phony side to him. Him being the only melodic instrument in Motley, he shaped the sound of the band and is a huge contributor to the success of the band. I appreciate his comments about John 5. I have heard interviews with John and I know he tries to play all the guitar parts and solos just like Mick because he respects his playing and writing ability so much. I wish Mick all the success in the world with his new album. The first song release sounds great. I like his approach of using different lead singers so that the singers are used to fit the song rather than altering the song to fit the singer. Looking forward to hearing the full album.

Absolutely right Alister Fiend. You know, most of the humans on this planet make me ashamed to be human; the celebrity class even more so. Mick MF'n Mars is truly an anomaly and makes me proud at the thought that I am in some distant way related to him. This has very little to do with the rockstar/fan juxtaposition and everything to do with my admiration for an artist, craftsman, and amazing musician who above all else is kind, thoughtful, and ever introspective. It's those exact traits and natural disposition that allowed a megalomaniacial individual like Sixx to stand on Mars' talented shoulders and take 90% of the credit and all that came with it. It absolutely was Nikki's drive and vision that propelled the Crue. However, without Mars; not only would you have a band called Christmas, you likely would have never heard their music. As for the sound that is Motley, it is the sound of Mars.

The Motley album with Corabi is my favorite album and Ive been a fan since I seen them open for Kiss in 82 and the tone and the heaviness of that record is still undersold by fans who love Vince who we all know sucks for a $300 ticket 😂😂live lets put the truth out there 😂

Shout at the Devil came out the year I turned 18 and I played the tape on my Alpine car stereo with 100 watt power booster and 6x9s. It was Micks guitar playing and his tone that I loved. I mean the band was good but it was his cool riffs that made them special. His tone was so sharp on that album that it sounded like a skill saw or something. Those are fond memories of cruising around listening to that album. Mick was totally the backbone of Motley and deserves soooo much of the credit. Congrats on your new album Mick ! Im also a Nashville native, so hello from a fellow Nashvillan.

Mick’s got more grit & determination than most people do at any age!!! Seriously, how many musicians in his physical condition are looking to create something new & unique?? {{•Not Many•}} Young people should pay attention-there’s a lot to learn here!!! Also: Mötley Crüe / Mötley Crüe, The John Corabi Album. IMO is def their best album!! It’s an album they should be really proud of-It’s a masterpiece for a band of this caliber!! The songs have some weight to them, the vocals are great & production is Stellar-or as good as it gets from Bob Rock in the 90s🤙🏼 For the diehard music fans, I hope they find the album & listen to it a few times-it’s really good🏴☠️✊🏼☮️🎶

But when Nikki and Tommy decided to kick Mick out of Motley , I sent the bass back to Nikki and wrote a letter supporting Mick and telling them that any true Cruehead that listen and watch their career from the beginning, we know the truth in what they were really doing to Mick Mars . The real Crueheads know the truth. Mick is the best FK the rest !!!

Sounds like Mick is so happy to be able to play what he wants. I think Dixx is a control freak. Telling Vince how to sing and Mars how to play. His demeanor says it all. Arguably one of the best riff writers of the 80s. Old Motley has some heavy guitar parts. His playing as one guitar player. With a mediocre at best bass player holding down the rhythm. Making those songs sound so full. Shows his talent. Can't wait for the whole album. Definitely Too fast for love. Both versions. With the Lethur records version edging as my favorite. Then Shout. Theater. Girls was 2 songs and filler. Feelgood was overrated. Good luck Mars!
