Technically, he isn’t… As we see from DDD, *Minnie* is the Princess. Mickey just married in - he’s the consort, hence why he can run off and go and have adventures while Minnie has to stay behind at the castle. *She* is the one with Royal Blood, not him. As for him being known as King - look at Scotland and England. It was possible for a Queen to give the King “the crown Mattinonial” (I.e they’re crowned King and rule with them) - as seen with Mary, Queen of Scots and Lord Darnley, or Mary I and Philip II of Spain.

I started off wondering where this theory was going, then got distracted by the baby care stuff in the background and had to rewatch 😂 hope the family is doing well! I think you have a good point on most of this, and Mickey’s King status very much is up in the air on “when did that happen”. But then again, this is Disney we’re talking about, which has several movies where royalty just changes the known rules because their prince/princess falls in love with someone. Plus Mickey has basically the plot of the underdog-to-king they’ve used a lot as well, where he starts off as a simple worker on Pete’s boat but dreams of a bigger life, then happens to start training with the keyblade at some point, and on a mission he catches the eye of royalty and likely had the “since you are marrying Minnie, you are also King” rule change I just mentioned.

Ehh, doubting those last bits.... given that Pete appears in both TR and CoTM, there's likely some sort of overlap or connection between Disney Town and CoTM, though how this overlap works is speculation for another video. And Pete wasn't being a scapegoat... the only things marked onto him was something that was genuinely all him (like attacking the reigning Queen... over ice cream.... that was given to the winner of a community driven vote).

Sora and Kairi are the true rulers of the realm, think about it Sora is a prince of heart and is attracted to world's in which Princesses are at, you could argue that this is Sora protecting the princesses but here's the real kicker , we can argue that Aqua's spell sent Kairi to Destiny Island but I think reality is Sora is meant to be with Kairi through destiny hence the king of the realm.
