8 years ago as I was rushed to the ER for surgery this song played in my head, over and over and over. Jesus brought me through the knock at death's door. My faith stronger than before. My Pastor issued us the prayer challenge recently and this song is on the list. Then Jesus protects you, guides you and heals you from CANCER, you might understand the power of Jesus, the annointing of the Holy Ghost and the peace only Jesus can give your soul, mind and body. HE CAN AND DOES STILL HEAL TODAY, you are never so lost that HE doesn't care and want you to come to HIM and restore you. Only Jesus can do all this!

These people have beliefs that they hold very dear. God is not their religion God is their life. If they feel that they should dress in a way or live in a way that they feel brings them closer to the God of their lives who are we to judge. How can anyone listen to the Spirit if God come through this music and not know that they walk close to the maker of song. Lets just draw closer to God in our own lives and learn to have convictions that bring us closer. Then we will know the peace that passes all understanding and we won't feel the need to judge others.

Seriously guys. I'm 15 years old and I attend a upc church. First of all this isn't being in chains or dictatorship. It's having a relationship. The bible says be ye holy for I am holy. The standards are there to help us be holy and draw closer to God. And yes In some churches you can wear wedding rings and no your skirt doesn't have to be to your ankles. The upc standard is three inches past the knees. But this isn't even about that. This is a beautiful song expressing worship to God. It's not about how long her skirt is or what she's wearing. These people are genuinely reaching for God and some people on here are trying to start an argument. Leave your opinions to yourself. Let's all myself included act like real Christians.

Today I’m appalled at the dressing I see in church today, even in my church it’s almost blasphemous to see the way people dress coming into the house of God, so inappropriate. Mickey Mangun has an amazing voice a true gift of god i have listened to her since i was younger ans my grandmother got me involved in listening to it. most songs from POA touch me so much. I was raised Pentecostal been lost for over 6 years now and I miss my walk with God but this world has me for now but one day I will be where I need to be by the grace of God. But this music has touched my life in a lot of ways when I struggle through suicide I turn it on and it calms me down a lot. I am so lucky to have access to such holy ghost filled people just through my phone keep it up you all have a true gift from God.

It is amazing to me that people, even religious people, have no problem with people looking different as a work requirement, such as uniforms or dress code, but when people choose to look different than others when it comes to a sincerely held religious belief they are somehow legalistic. If you look back over time most of the denominational churches all held to a similar standard of dress, even the Catholic church required that women wear dresses into the 70's, but over time most have walked away from that teaching. What changed? Did the Word of God change, or did people just change along with society?

It's not about church doctrine, it's about Jesus Christ and having a personal relationship with Him. As we continue to walk towards God we become less and less interested in how the world does things and more and more interested in having a Kingdom mindset, the mind of Jesus Christ. Just being Apostolic is not going to save you. I am Apostolic and i am not ashamed. People that sincerely obey the word of God is what saves you. We dress modestly so people that come to our Church don't have to turn their heads or shield their eyes because of what they see. We want to make it easier for people who are hungry for God to find Him without fighting lust because someone's clothes are too tight or their shirt is too low showing off their bodies. Nobody wants to see that at Church. Just saying.

Thank you. I did and God showed me how misguided I was as an Apostolic. I condemned others for not believing as I did. God showed me that my heart was filled with self righteousness and religion by telling others that they were not saved. Again, I do not condemn others for believing this way. I have family that are Apostolic. I will always be apostolic at heart but I choose to no longer condemn others and have this sense of elitism that only I am going to heaven. I remember having the same exact feeling when I was a Pentecostal or Apostolic. I was so "proud" that only my church was going to heaven and that all the other churches were "wrong" in their belief. I felt this sense of elitism and this sense that I knew so much better than others. Only the Apostolics are going to heaven I thought to myself...I do not condemn people of this people for I use to be one. They have great passion and are really dedicated to God even if it is misguided.
