@@hitthat6120 I was trying to describe Guts to a friend to convince him to watch the 90s anime and I think I ended up describing him 3 completely different ways lol. He keeps changing and he's complex and he's not aware of his own complexity cuz he's just honestly reacting to his environment/upbringing. Damn I love this character...

Honestly Berserk will go down in history as the best and most deep story to ever be written I cant explain in words just how much the series and the manga means to me this story has taught be how to live life and struggle through hard times.

@gtuktm I get what you mean, but it's the way the reader interprets them. I find that Berserk has a deeper story as it really shows me what the human will can look like, in the form of Guts. But that's me.

@Poe Soul Nah, MadHouse is not what it used to be. I heard there's tons of people leaving and some kind of class-action lawsuit against them for working their employees like slaves. WhiteFox or Wit Studio would be better choices.

@@dillonmackay683 Well, maybe not exactly money but rather talent. You can pay millions to a bad animator and he will still be bad. But you're not exactly wrong because renowned animators are usually harder to secure for your project, so basically you might have to pay him more.

As do we all. But the simple truth is... Griffith as a God Hand member is just too powerful. Guts doesn't stand a chance a this point in the story. We've seen Griffith being powerful enough to basically toy with Skull Knight when he ( Griffith ) is in his Demon form. I know it wasn't really a fight but an assassination attempt by Skull Knight but still, it was obvious that Griffith never felt really threatened by Skull Knight and Skull Knight is much stronger than Guts. Unless he gets some huge power up or his "inner Demon" gets unleashed and Guts gains incredible powers as a result of the Demon dog, then i see no way how Guts can even touch Griffith.

He will, in the Manga guts has collected angel like souls in his sword, it can kill God Hands (which is was griffith is) and he has some really overpowered armor, guts could take em

I don't remember Skull Knight trying to kill Griffith, he went mainly after the head honcho when he went to save guts and Casca during the Eclipse.

Yeah, only thing Griffith did was smash a group of dead bodies together, which Skull Knight easily avoided picked up Gits and Casca and escaped. The only physical harm he wanted to do was to Void which was a failed attempt because he opened a portal that displaced the spear tip into another dimension of sorts.

The only actual fight Griffith was in, was with Zodd which he won with some effort. Guts has defeated numerous opponents that are several times stronger then he is and he's gotten the respect from Zodd.

Berserk and also this video actually contributed in a big part to me not taking my own life. It might sound silly, but the message contained within berserk to keep moving, enduring pain, which is an inevitable part of life and struggle to eventually succeed one day, that life itself is an endless fight, worth fighting, has been strong enough to help me back then. Thank you kentaro miura. Weve never met, but you influenced me greatly.

It saddens me when people who don’t like berserk call it “that show with the horse rape scene (it just the rape manga)”. Because it is so much more than that, the characters, the world, the goddamn story! Like I understand people being uncomfortable with those aforementioned rape scenes but to say berserk is nothing but edgy rape and violence is bullshit! Those rape scenes should make you feel uncomfortable and it’s not like they’re done for no reason (Guts entire personality is a result of what happened to him as a kid and what Griffith did to Casca was out of pure hatred and spite towards Guts). Whatever others think-just know that they’re are other berserk fans who see the bigger picture and enjoy it as much as you do

I feel the need to comment on this, because this got me into berserk. Seriously, I'd just played dark souls and wanted more media that was similar and started looking at Berserk.
