Three years after lighting up the charts and the FM band with her hit Viene De Mi, Argentinian singer La Yegros is back in the studio with Magnetismo, the second installment of her traditional mix of e cumbia and rowdy electronic beats. This winning formula is not an isolated bet of the South American music scene. First signed on the underground label ZZK Records - where we also find the Franco-Ecuadorian Nicola Cruz, La Yegros is the figurehead of a generation of local musicians and producers claiming the mix of the past and the future, acoustic rhythms and those of machines.
