Bro. You are the most awesome at making ALL THESE BURNERS !!! I don’t know a single channel that would create at least half of the burners that you created ! Not even every company creates as many burners as you create !! This is a huge job. Great respect!!! Thanks to you, I realized that creating burners and melting metal is not so difficult !!!

I recently made an upright version and had the same problem keeping it hot. The problem was the intake air needed more turbulence because it wasn't mixing the oil properly. I added a flat piece of metal after the oil feed tube to flick the oil up into the combustion area.

@@NOBOX7 Hey,has anyone ever told you that you can't weld worth a crap. LOL I do really enjoy your videos though. I also appreciate you sharing your knowledge and your experiments with us. Very impressive. I'm wanting to build a foundry. I've built one burner but not satisfied with it. I don't know if I'll try a different design or try improving what I have.

Thank you! Given me the inspiration to keep focused with my oil burner. Your spray nozzles are very enticing!! But point taken. I'm a week in, on mk 2 burner, wvo as fuel, solar powered 12/24v, hairdryer blower. I need simple. For me, I need off grid. I intend to use it as a heat source to fire my retort kiln to make biochar.

If your getting a flame over flame(what looks to be a secondary flame lighting after the output nozzle) on the output then your running a rich mixture causing the chamber to be cooled due to the oil boiling in the chamber and not igniting until it reaches the atmosphere.

Mother Eath had an article on a Roger Sanders designed waste oil heater, used as a space heater. Uses an inverted shallow cone fed by a variable drip feed. Produces huge amounts of heat fairly economical in oil usage (depending on heat output of course)

That's a great idea for the heat conductor/transfer. But you may want to if you have the availability to, use a solid chunk of copper and silver soder it on. Copper has a lot higher thermal conductivenes.

I have a very large shop and consume 3000 to 3500 gallons of oil to keep it warm. Thinking about building a waste oil fired refinery to make diesel from plastic and heat the shop but want it all mechanical air is okay since it is always on. Any input would be appreciated. I don't have much time for failure, too many other projects going on.

Once you get it heated up does the burning cause any suction? Will it draft it's own air and oil without the fan?

What if bio gas would be also fed into it simultaneously, thus needing less oil, where would you put the gas nozzle? I am planning a bit similar apparatus, but one that it would to be a true combination burner, able to use wood, gas and oil simultaneously in different ratios.

You could probably run the gas into the side right next to where oil inlet is, would probably make ignition easier.

Be very patient , get a small fire going on the least amount of air possible , you may even need to block the intake , i had one the required you put your hand over the blower to get it lit . the excess air is cooling everything off , then slowly ramp up , only when your good in hot should you jack with the settings much

@@NOBOX7 I have a 5 gallon BBQ gas tank 2 inch air pipe low on side, 2 inch hole where valve was a 2 inch cast iron 90 that drops into a pipe sleeve. Should I start with oil in the tank? I am confused where the flame comes from some show it at the end of the air pipe and others the whole inside is on fire. Thanks for your help.

@@NOBOX7 i meant in celcius or fahrenheits. actual heat in the large flame. i guess there are some gases thats not properly burned in your flamer. i guessy you have calculated 200 from that it burned away 20L oil per hour? also, thanks for a great clip and tips

What if you use a old turbo from a car instead of one blower that runs on electricity. Maybe you only have to start op with an electricity blower but when you have sufficient pressure you don't need an additional blower
